That's along the lines of what I was thinking but I was thinking NOT Judas Priest but maybe Iced Earth since that's where Ripper Owens went when he left Priest. I just have no way to connect IE with a guru. Also Ripper isn't with IE anymore. Also, I don't think IE would ever get an offer from Bonnaroo. So...forget I said anything.
I doubt that's it, but I'd love for it to be. IE at Bonnaroo would be great.
Up a month to me would be forward...and it says up a month, maybe two. So February or march. Maybe talking about someone releasing an album in that time? Who releases albums in Feb and March?
Bright Eyes will be releasing their next album in late Feb I think. Their last album had a strange astrology (guru?) intro to it.
Edit: In terms of being delayed, the video game Portal 2 was pushed back a month or two. Was supposed to be in late Feb, now it's in April. Not the first time we'd have a video game inspired clue (Little Big Planet from two years ago)
Jonathan Coulton did the main song for the game "Still Alive"

the 2011 calender has been up for a month or more... i know i have to put mine up for appointments in november...could it reference the year or the new year or a calendar

ok if we go on calendar....dont call the priest..is this like the thing at new years about a death and a new life....so dont look at the death but the new life...something about th enew year and new life?
I think UP has to do more with "awake" or "activated: Still up now, a month maybe two... Something to do with insomnia?
Thought of this earlier, checked the world record for staying awake...11 days. Can't think of any other way to fit staying awake into the context of "still up a month"
Didnt conor say the new bright eyes album was inspired by some new age space guru..? Im looking for the article
Yeah, I thought the same thing. Found the article
"The record features guest appearances by pals from Cursive and the Faint (and as usual, Mogis produced the LP). But the standout contributions came from El Paso musician Denny Brewer, a sixtysomething biker and New Age shaman Oberst met while recording in Texas — and who adds mind-bending spoken-word passages. Brewer would pop by the studio and spend hours expounding on his ideas about human nature, alchemy and the Federal Reserve, and Oberst found himself rapt. "A lot of people would write him off as a conspiracy-theory crazy person," he says. "But then he'd turn a corner and hit on a point that was completely truthful.""
