"Still up," could mean the distillery is up and running. "A month now, maybe two" could easily apply to the operation of a still. In which case we're talking a distilled liquor. "Call my guru" suggests something exotic, maybe far Eastern. Bombay Sapphire gin comes to mind. Gin? Gin Blossoms?

You're stretching it more than Kirstie Alley's jeans.

It's not Kid Cudi, It's not Dr. Dre. Those theories don't work weel. All of you are trying to stretch the answers too far from the clues. They are not that convoluted. They are pretty straight forward.
The Edward Sharpe theory is wrong after re-reading it. He makes no mention of a Guru, or a Priest in the song, which i originally thought he did, when reading the theory.
Best answer for now is Pretty Lights, maybe not correct, though. There are some holes. Most people don't leave their Christmas Lights up this long. and The tie in to the Priest is weak.

Could be off, but didn't Bruce Springsteen sing Santa Claus is Coming to Town at Bonnaroo? and he is known as the boss which is similar to guru. Just thinking out loud

Not sure if this fits at all, but The Strokes definitely have a guru - jp bowersock. His picture was in the liner notes for "Is This It?" and his title was band guru.
Also, they're coming out with an album in a few months, which could explain the "a month now, maybe two."
Not sure about "still up," and the priest reference.
So I guess that rules out Pretty Lights... back to the drawing board, friends.
edit: that Dr. Dre logic seems pretty flimsy to me, I wouldn't put much stock in it.
Yeah, but "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" was written by Dr. Seuss.
could be ruling out pretty lights, while also pushing us in the DR direction??
idont think ill be much help on this one since i think that i just HOPE that its dre.. im not big on rap... but i love me some dre
some friends of my went to the jay z / emenim concert in Detroit last summer.... sent me video of dre opening for them.. so he is still performing / hopefully touring after Detox....
DJ Premier is releasing Beats That Collected Dust Vol. 2 tomorrow, or today depending on where you are, Beats from his vault.. It has a song on it called LATE NIGHT which could refer to being still up.. Dj Premier worked the GURU as part of Gang Starr, Just a thought.. He also released a collaboration album in December, a month ago.. Just thoughts.. I would love it if it turned out to be Dave Attel though.. He is the man!
This is the best logic I have seen so far... This is what i thought when I saw Guru as well.
EDIT: Eventhough I don't think DJ Premier is going to be on the farm, I think this makes the most sense.
New thought; "Still up. A month now, maybe two," combined with "just find my guru," might imply trouble descending from levitation. Two band immediately come to mind, Pixies and U2. There is also a connection with a Priest and U2 via their quote "And a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle," which is a feminist slogan emphasizing the independence of women from men in, among other things, marriage.
I hate these Clues to other clues, instead of helping it just gets us side tracked....because now i cant figure out how it could possibly relate to either clue.
