I stumbled across this Ke$ha, Kesha Rose Sebert, thing. Didn't know anything about her, but she was raised in Tennessee, and did a charity gig for the Nashville flood. She's applies some pretty funky make-up. She's relatively young, 23 I think. And, she counts People like Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan as inspirations, though you wouldn't guess it after hearing her music. Plus, she's like 6' tall.

6'! That's like an amazon. Fits Gary's "Ten" comment.

"Are you from Tennessee? Because you are the only Ten I See!" - it's a cheesy pick-up line - this has to make reference to a hottie - possibly from TN but almost certaintly a farm girl??? Dang Nabbit!!
my posts keep getting lost on this thread...i'm pretty sure it's the eli young band. the lead singer recently at a football game forgot the words to the star spangled banner. they wrote their last album from their family farm and are from denton. their last album was recorded in nashville. wikipedia.org/wiki/eli_young_band

Is Ten to do with the number of times that certain person has played there? Has anybody played Bonnaroo ten times? Les Claypool's been there at least 8 between his different excursions...

yeah - I mentioned that before but no mind was paid - I think Gary shot that idea down however
I would like to believe. I love the Kings of Leon.
Ya know, I commend you for "coming out" like that. You could be burned at the stake for that around here. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the reason you have a -1. I'd give you a "coco" if I hadn't just given someone one. I'm not really a fan and even chose to hang at the tent during their show last year (could hear it), BUT the songs Knocked Up, Fans, and On Call, and Closer are all on my ipod and all awesome. Be proud of what you like.

come on guys. we all know THIS YEAR will be the tenth roo, so it wouldve been IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to have played there ten times...unless you count a band like phish that played multiple times during one year. as far as i know les claypool wouldve been the only person (supposing he has played at bonnaroo EVERY single year, he played twice one year due to superjam) but i believe gary has already said no (to oysterhead at least)

You could be right. That's mighty coincidental. The whole "Denton" thing is a good link. Good work.

Leader and I both thought Neil Young. He's got the red white and blue cover, he's young. just our 2 cents.
Well, this builds off of my idea. Bands that have releasedalbums that have received perfect 10 ratings from Pitchfork (Why Pitchfork? Meh, I don't know; they're stingy with their reviews). Neil Young's reissues have received 10s.
But there are very few bands that have released albums that have received a 10 (wherein the album was not a reissue). One such artist that could fit the clue and hints so far is Bonnie "Prince" Billy.
