I think the answer of what is BoReing is The Sword. Also, the divine intervention part goes along with the theme of their latest album which was a sci-fi epic.

From Urban Dictionary: bore Meaning "to stab", with a "borer" (rude-boy terminology meaning sharp, dangerous object, usually a knife) Watch, I'm gonna bore you up.
Of course, I have no idea where to go with this either.
From one BoRe to another, a war rages amongst champions. We're calling for divine intervention
Talib and Mos can be seen as champions. Separately, they would be competing with one another and may reference on another in their lyrics. But Black Star is the divine intervention to allow them to come together and work as a team.
well ants dig or bore holes... war, marching but I got nothin on the divine intervention part
Please note, I do not wish for DMB back so soon, but with the announcement that despite not touring in 2011, that they would be playing 4 "multi day, multi artist events". I know the COS claimed that these would be DMB festivals, but I doubt it, I think they will headline 4 festivals.

The use of the word "bore" in the clue is still bothering me a little. I thought it was referring to some kind of inner city violence involving guns. But nothing on wiki said that either one of them was involved in that sort of thing.
But they both grew up in Brooklyn, so the capital "B" and "R" could be an abbreviation for it. Bore could also (maybe) be referring to boroughs.
The Urban Dictionary definition made me think of it initially. If we're talking about street slang, signifyin' is quite common amongst rappers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signifyin') - displaying one-upsmanship. Instead of sharp objects, they're using sharp words. This could be the "the war" part. "Champions" (plural) refering to each Talib and Mos.
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"

Sliletto is a kind of knife(BoRe)... There second album is called This is my Boomstick named after the movie Army of Darkness that had Ash(champion of good) fight his evil copy(champion of evil)
Bonnaroo Wish 2011 Wish List.. Going Big lol... F&TM, Robyn, La Roux, of Montreal, Janelle Monae, Sia, M.I.A., Girl Talk, Daft Punk, Animal Collective, Radiohead, The xx (but prolly not), iamamiwhoami (would be a dream), Yeasayer, Grizzly Bear... perhaps more but that would be greedy haha
idk was just thinking about how these aren't always about the lineup.
Actually, they are. In early years we had a couple red herrings, but that hasn't happened lately. And in 2009 there were hints leading us to DJJD's Twitter feed, but most of those weren't radio clues and none of them were ever officially described as clues the way the real clues are.
I'm virtually positive we've never had a real clue that was for anything other than an act on the lineup.

I just went through every single entry in urbandictionary that started with "bo" (like 120 pages!) and did a ctrl+f for "re" and looked into everything that could possibly be abbreviated as BoRe. Didn't find anything that looked possible. Just thought I'd mention it so nobody else drives themselves crazy looking at UD.
