For some reason if it is boar, I'm thinking of a mascot. Maybe it's the war/champion thing. But it could be refering to the razorbacks - which is the mascot for Arkansas. Not sure how that connects to anything yet just my first thoughts.
Also divine intervention is a song by taking back sunday, maybe they could be connected to another band somehow. I know the Movielife is reunited and playing Bamboozle this year.
From one boar to another a war ranges amongst champions we are calling for divine intervention
Unsure of spelling and punctuation
When read the second part of the quote I immediately took it as a band which broke up due to fighting in the band is reuniting.
First one that comes to mind for me is Ozzy and Iommi fighting over the name Black Sabbath... War Pigs... it's a stretch but it's just my initial thought
If it's "board," I'm thinking it refers to the rivalry between this board and the Coachella board, and is referring to an artist that was wanted for both fests, by both fanbases, but didn't wind up at Coachella.
I'm picking up what you're stepping in...
I won't dare jinx it but i believe you are referring to a specific act...

Do you have an act in mind or are you just spitballing?
first thing divine intervention made me think of was taking back sunday, but i can't fit them to the rest of the clue.
i know this is a really huge stretch, but.. NIN? the first part of the clue made me think of March of the Pigs, I mean I think it's a song partially about war, destruction, chaos. I just don't think the guess is gonna be that easy ;\

I don't know about NIN, but didn't Reznor and Atticus Rose team up to do the Social Network and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo soundtracks? Any chance of them?

in case you missed it... #Rooclue #6: From one BoRe to another, a war rages amongst champions. We're calling for divine intervention.
^Thats official
"Bore" is equivalent to caliber when talking guns. In this case the clue reminds me of "Shoot 'em all and let God sort them out." Velvet Revolver immediately comes to mind.

BoRe is an acronym used to describe a type of nuclear reactor that was never really used; Beryllium Oxide Reactor Experiment. No idea if that means anything.
This made me think of the Cold War and the arms race.
The word war may make this too obvious, but I'm guessing Cold War Kids.
Cold War works for the first two fragments (if BoRe is in response to a nuclear reactor) and a war amongst champions. Kids can be thought of as divine intervention? Maybe.
