haha i'm tempted to say the 2 biggest arguments are Daft Punk and Radiohead, but not sure how the clue wouldwork there. I also thin either Board Reguar or Bonnaroo Regular fit well, but Board seems more likely.

i like the idea of Bonnaroo Regular, and the clue may not exactly be referencing an actual "war" thought i do see how it could mean bonnaroo regulars coming together?
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"

From one BoRe to another = from one bonnaroo regular to another
a war rages amongst champions = competition between 2 bands of a certain style to argue who is bigger or any bands who have ruled latenight or a stage spot or have ruled bonnaroo by playing numerous times
we're calling for divine intervention = collaboration? superjam?
dylan and the dead? the ultimate jam band = furthur + phish + panic? jack white? jim james? galactic?

Thats extremely likely how its supposed to be interpreted, but that doesnt really give a lot of clues as to WHO it is...hmmm I think this is the money shot of all clues though. haha.
I was thinking Cold War Kids at first. The BoRe (I actually interpreted as 'bore') was refering to the negative reviews of their last two albums, then obviously the war part. Obviously if the 'B' and 'R' are intentionally capitalized then it changes everything. What acts have played Bonnaroo the most? I'm guessing we could look there for Bonnaroo Regular.
"You look like you're listening to every note." - Lady to me during LCD's "final" show 2023: Mar 29 - Guster Apr 6 - Postmodern Jukebox Apr 26 - Father John Misty May 14 - Taylor Swift (Philly) May 17 - Robert Plant and Alison Krauss July 12 - moe. July 16 - CAKE (Portland, ME) July 28-30 - Newport Folk (#12!) Dec 8-9 - Goosemas!
The second part of the clue, "...a war rages amongst champions we are calling for divine intervention" makes me think the "divine intervention" could refer to a Greek god. I feel like if we stick to "God" or "Jesus" it's just gonna lead us to another metal band, lol.
During the Trojan War, Athena had to "intervene" and guide to Trojan horse, ending the war of champions...
Athena might be part of the clue. Or maybe a band from Athens, GA?

garychardonnay Gary Chardonnay Incorrect, ma'am. RT agenthal: garychardonnay Not the boards, then is it a reference to two Bonnaroo Regulars? (so two bands/artists?)
garychardonnay Gary Chardonnay Not from what I can tell. RT rasta979: garychardonnay According to the roo board 1st post for clue 6...are we treading the right path?
