Josh Homme's Desert Sessions, anyone? It's in the same realm as whoever said the surviving 3 members of Zep should do it, but whatever. A man can dream.

Wook because I go to roo and not the Gathering I fucking hate orange and grape Faygo. Drinking that shit gives me a monster headache you would not believe. I guess it is all of the artificial shit in it. hearing somebody rant about something I hate for an eternity on a desert Island? I would beat their skull in iwht a rock and drag the bloody corpse to the shark infested reef.

What if the Superjam was a release of a dozen juggalos and wooks, who had been starved all weekend, onto Which so they could fight over a couple of corn dogs and pizza slices? Now THAT would be entertainment!
Calling Stanton Moore a boring drummer may be the most ignorant thing I have ever heard you say.
I meant the lineup was boring and predictable, clowndick. It's a like "Assemble a Superjam by Numbers" kit. Reminds me of the first 3 years of Bonnaroo when the Superjam would basically just be Stanton Moore, then random dudes from Umphrey's/moe./Bisco wanking around for a while.
It's basically like "gee, let's take the 3 most obvious candidates on the core three instruments from the jamband scene, and let 'em play! MAYBE THEYLL PLAY GUILDED SPLINTERS OMG!!!1"
If they do it, I'd like to see them think outside of the jamband box. I liked the rumors of 2009 (wasn't it originally Byrne & co.?), 2007 was a good idea, and while 2008 could have been better executed (it was basically just Gogol Bordello with Les Claypool, would have been nice with a more diverse/unique cast), I like how they've drawn in lots of random talent.
Frankly, I think they should just give ?uestlove the reins and tell him to throw together whatever musicians he wants to do whatever he wants for a one-time, one-off show. Problem solved.
Yeah why would they use jam band musicians for a SuperJam?
Also if that is what you meant why didn't you say it? You will have to pardon those of us who read things like. "Great musicians, but boring and predictable. " as meaning that you were talking about the aforementioned musicians. For a lawyer you are not real good at communicating with the written word asshat.
I told you, if I make it to Bonnaroo, I'm going to show up at the brunch and not tell anyone who I really am.
That's probably for the best. And I only say that because I'm pretty sure your girlfriend wouldn't like me throwing myself at you and professing my internet-crush love

Yea, because only jam band musicians can play rehearsed cover songs...
Now that we have the answer, I'd like to hear everyones fantasy Superjam from the people off the initial lineup. No need to include Dr. John or Dan Auerbach unless you want to. Here is mine...
Vocals- Robert Plant Bass- Victor Wooten/Les Claypool Guitar- Jimmy Herring/Neil Young Drums- Patrick Carney (Black Keys) Keyboard- Kyle Hollingsworth (SCI) horns- The Meters
I mean, there are too many possibilities...I'll throw this out there though, for poops and giggles...
Vocals: Florence Welch Bass: Bootsy Guitar(s): Neil Young/Jack White or Bela Drums: Jay Lane Keyboard: None (yep that's how I'm doing it) Horns: The Preservation Hall Jazz Band's horns coming in from NOLA
