I think there are too many festivals going on this year to sell out quickly. I mean you have tons to choose from and next year, with Forecastle coming back stronger, it could take even longer if at all.

I saw something in the Bonnaroo email:
To help protect you and your Bonnaroo investment, you will receive a specially designed wristband with a unique RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) chip that will be mailed to you in advance of the festival in lieu of a physical ticket. This secure RFID chip in your wristband is unique to you and your order. Your wristband is your ticket to Bonnaroo 2011!

I know there are RFID bracelets that can work as a credit card making it possible not to have to carry a lot of cash around but I'd be stunned if the technology was on the farm.

Its just to prevent people from getting in with fake bracelets.
The lack of an actual ticket is probably part of the green movement. Other than the souvenir aspect, it serves no purpose, since they can now just scan your bracelet.

first time roo'er
Will there still be tickets in a month? I'm not talking like stubhub where they would presumably be inflated out the gazzoo, I'm talking tickets still straight from Bonnaroo.
I think the consensus here is that Bonnaroo will sellout this year. The debate lies with how quickly it will sellout; whether it is a week or a few months. I personally know a few people who definitely want to go this year but cannot buy tickets tomorrow due to financial strains. However, for most of them once their tax return comes in they are set to go.
So the question I pose to those who do not buy tickets tomorrow, or even in the next few days, how much will you pay for tickets on craigslist/stubhub or scalped tickets in Manchester the day of the fest if you don't buy tickets before they are sold out?

i had the same problem. i found two solutions. one, i went in using another browser besides foxfire. second solution - someone else helped me get foxfire to accept that link. before i did these two things i didnt even get a box of X at all....nothing at all on the page and no warning that foxfire was blocking it. so try using another browser or get someone to help you or use someone elses computer. hope this helps someone else who doesnt know much about all this thanks

Do any of you guys know about how many they set aside at each pricing level? It would be interesting to know how many tickets are left once they hit Tier 4. Good Stuff.

Last year I was able to get tier 3 a few days after they went on sale, I am predicting a sell out. This is the year for festivals Coachella, Sasquatch, Ultra- sold out.........Bonnaroo next?
