Is anyone else worried about possibly not getting a ticket when they go on sale. I got one just fine during the pre-sale for the 2010 festival, but since the pre-sale this year sold out so quickly I'm a bit worried. I've got all my fund ready, but I'm just worried about the site going down and next thing I know tickets are sold out. Thoughts?
My only worry is I might have to work Saturday. If I do that will make it where I won't be able to get my ticket until a few hours after they go on sale.
I am a little nervous they might sell out this year, but I don't think it will be right away. If there is a big comedy name or a big addition, then maybe later on. How many have to sell for it to be considered "sold out"? Is it 80,000?

Yea 80,000 is the number they say it sells out at, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they sold more if the demand was that high. They have added camping in recent years so they can certainly accommodate more people if they want to.
No one should worry about it selling out so quickly. I'd be shocked if it sold out before May, if at all.

If last year sold out at 85k, they could have crammed 10-15 more into those back campgrounds. 07 was the most crowded year I have been from what I remember, and that was terrible. 15-20 minutes to get into centeroo every time.

And think about it, do you really think that 70,000 people are going to stop what they are doing at whatever time it is on Saturday to buy $250+ tickets? No.
Bonnaroo is not going to sell out. And if it does, you have about 13 miles of a car line to find one person selling a ticket. It's the cheapest way into roo.
Yeah its not going to sell out on the first day I can guarentee you that (Unless Led Zeppelin or some other huge band reunites to play.)
Like others have said I doubt it sells out at all. I dont think Coachella selling out so quickly has any effect on Bonnaroo whatsoever seeing as they are on opposite ends of the country. So long story short dont worry. (Although im sure no matter what I say you will.)

i have to agree with 04 being the most crowded year yet and it did sell out that year... i also agree that theres no way its going to sell out in a day, i could never see that happening. will they sell out all of all of the lower priced tickets immediately? yes but there will be tickets

I had this similar thought but then I remembered there are 80K tickets to sell. I got my funds on hand as well...Buying 2 tickets for my brah and I - once again his birthday falls on Bonnaroo and he gets it for free Once again we are going to party our faces off <3 love that farm and the wacky characters <3
'04 was definitely the most crowded. It was after that year that they cut back on ticket sales. Estimate range from 90k -110k but the first few years are hard to get actual attendance figures as Coffee County had yet to start taxing tickets and so no one worried about an accurate count. Now the County wants its money ($3/ticket starting in 2005) so the count is pretty firm.
Not worried about selling out just yet unless something HUGE is announced tomorrow. Not even sure if I'll be around to get my ticket on Sat. but I'll get one eventually.

I think we all kind of worry about it selling out each year before tickets go on sale. I know I am, since for the 3rd time in a row, I won't be able to get the lower tier of tickets since I'll be working. Hopefully my roommate will actually remember to order mine, haha.

didnt all of the lower tier tickets sell out during the black friday pre-sale?
I think you can expect three tiers of ticket prices Saturday. The presale tickets are their own little thing. Tier 1 is hard to get on Saturday so if that's what you really need get on early and be ready to refresh.
