i just switched it to be more accurate according to when artists say theyre playing. i basically pulled it out of my ass other than insider's info, used that as a skeleton then went with what seemed to make sense. ive never tried to do that before but it was actually fun.
Fri. What: Mumford & Sons 6-7:30pm -> Arcade Fire 8:30-11pm -> MMJ 12-4am Fri. Which: Grace Potter & The Nocturnals 2-3:30pm-> Bela Fleck & The Flecktones 4-6pm-> The Strokes 6:30-8pm Late Night: Lil Wayne 1-3am Late Night Tents: Sound Tribe Sector 9, Explosions in the Sky, Primus

This would be ideal. I could see pretty much everybody I want to.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Interesting that you think Iron & Wine & Mumford & Sons will be late nights.
Regarding Dr. John & Meters, best to have them @ 2:00 AM in a tent. I can't think of any other scenario for them.
The thing that worries me the most is that The Strokes will be playing on Which while I'm waiting all day to be as close as possible for Arcade Fire and My Morning Jacket. That would be terrible.

the strokes are that band who im glad is on the lineup because it cuts down on conflicts. if nothing is going on ill definitely see them but more than likely it just lets me something else and not feel too bad about missing this

Friday What: Ray Lamontagne 4:00-5:30 Mumford & Sons 6:00-7:15, Arcade Fire 8:00-10:00, My Morning Jacket 11:00-whenever they want. Which: Allison Kraus 5:30-7:00, Girl Talk 8:00-10:00, Bassnectar: 11:00-2:00
Saturday What: Dr, John 4:00-5:30 Big Boi 6:-7:15, Lil Wayne 8:00-10:00, Eminem 10:30-1:00 Which: Iron & Wine: 4:30-6:00, Black Keys: 6:30-8:30,Explosions in the sky 9:00-11:00, 11:30-2:00 Primus
Sunday What: Greg Allman 3:30-4:30, Robert Plant 5:00-6:30, Widespread panic: 7:00-9:00, Buffalo Springfield 9:30-12 Which: Decemberists: 4:00-5:30, String Cheese Incident 6:00-7:30, The Strokes 8:00-10:00
....WOW, this was hard, I even made some conflicts for myself haha. I'd like to put SCI in widespreads spot but my schedule is already slightly unrealistic and that would just ruin it.

Everyone keeps putting Buffalo Springfield as headlining Saturday with Eminem LN....but Eminem is the first name on the lineup. I'm doubting that he would do anything but take the unopposed Headline spot.

does it really matter who plays before who? its not like the What stage is themed...
besides I dont know where else to fit Wayne. This lineup is really confusing for the schedule, I feel a pretty bad conflictaroo coming on. I REALLY dont know where Buffalo Springfield or Wayne are going to play, and the fact that MMJ, Primus and SCI all deserve late night stage sets makes things even more confusing
and apostle-why not? they played in the day last year, and theyve blown up. besides, all tent LNs arent going to be hip hop/electronic/jam. black keys played a LN tent last year, I could see Mumford doing the same thing

i would guess wayne as a which closer or before keys sat. or LN friday if MMJ preheadlines for Arcade Fire.
My guess on buffalo would be before AF or Widespread, but I suppose before Eminem in a Jack Johnson spot isnt out of the question, the only problem being Black Keys are billed directly above them.

FRI What: Decemberists or Mumford & Sons (6:30pm-8:00pm) -> Arcade Fire (9pm-11pm) -> MMJ (12am-3am) FRI Which: Black Keys (7:30pm-9:00pm)

possible Late Night tent acts (order of likelihood): Pretty Lights, Girl Talk, Bassnectar, Ratatat, STS9, Robyn, Scissor Sisters, Explosions in the Sky, Big Boi, Black Star, Opeth, maybe Dr. John as well as the Superjam... Hard to say. I'm sure there's something here I'm missing. I'm not counting on any LN jam in the tents, seeing as MMJ and SCI are likely to play LN on the stages.
Either Decemberists or Mumford & Sons make perfect sense to me as Friday What preheadliner. That aside, this is the most sensible way I can imagine to fit all of our big acts into a fairly conventional Bonnaroo schedule. One LN What on Friday, one LN Which on Saturday, dueling preheadliners Saturday like 2009 Friday (Beasties vs Byrne). BS and Lil Wayne are both huge gets, but don't get mixed up: neither will headline unopposed. That's Eminem's job, whether you like it or not.

"it's possible" isn't a good reason for it to actually happen. They are a Which closer or a What afternoon set, no way they play late night.
