I'm with ya on EITS. Reason I put Beirut there on my mock was because I think it would make the most sense not to have them and Iron & Wine conflict. And by the time the 3 tent closers end, you'd be able to catch most of Plant and all of the Strokes if you wanted. In most recent years they've had 5 bands in each of the 3 tents on Sunday (with the exception of 2009 when Okkervil River was the last band to play in a tent).

It also seems those openers usually play world music or reggae. Not always the case but typically. I guess I was just thinking about Trombone Shorty last year, that's why I think Black Joe Lewis would also be good in that spot.
This might be my last mock of the year. I'm happiest with the way I've got things scheduled here. Let me know what you think.

#Winning. This is the best scenario I've seen so far. I can deal with missing Beirut and the Black Keys.
It also seems those openers usually play world music or reggae. Not always the case but typically. I guess I was just thinking about Trombone Shorty last year, that's why I think Black Joe Lewis would also be good in that spot.
that's not racist, that's truth. look at past schedules. tell me what types of bands have opened both the what and which stages. there are a few exceptions, bands like rx bandits and gomez come to mind, but for the most part its something a bit obscure, meaning not traditional guitar rock. usually world music, reggae, funk or soul or something along those lines.
I could see it, but with a show in Philly the night before and Toronto the night after, it seems to me that Sunday would be a lot more likely. Don't you?

Probably my last mock. Took a shot at some of the Cafe Artists and bands in the Silent Disco.

The bigger artists typically play in Cafe Where. There are only 3 or 4 bands that play in Cafe Where per day, and it's always while they are setting up for the next band on the What Stage, because Cafe Where is located in the back of the What Stage field. Of course, you'll have some big bands playing in the Troo Music Lounge later in the day and for late night. Now figuring out what cafe bands are "bigger" than the others, well, good luck with that.
Also, Troo Music Lounge day set times (Fri-Sun) seem to always be something like:
12:00-12:50 1:20-2:10 2:40-3:30 and so on
At least its always that way before evening. Bands get 50 minutes, 30 minutes between each band. It's also kind of nice that the times are like 1:20-2:10 because bands on the stages and tents always start at, let's say 1:00, 1:15, 1:30, 1:45 and so on. So it allows you to catch a brief bit of the cafe artists while nothing is going on at the stages and tents.

I wish there was a possibility to see both The Black Keys and Buffalo Springfield, but it seems like there is no way for that to be a possibility. Hopefully with tickets arriving we will get a schedule soon.
I wouldn't count on the schedule this week. My guess is next week we get the rest of the lineup adds (all cafe artists) and the schedule the following week. Or possibly both next week.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
