Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I now have a power converter, deep cycle battery and a locking storage container so the charging and security issues are resolved. I'm finally coming to Camp Inforoo whether I'm solo or not!
Nice, remember shade is the most important thing.
I have an ez up and tarps so the shade is covered. I'm thinking of buying another to bring this year. Will there be room in Camp Inforoo for me to have two ez ups? One to put over my tent and one for extra shade? I'd be willing to share the extra shade!

Last year we put all the shade in the middle, and the tents on the sides of the main structure. I dont care how many people we have there is no way to have too much shade. Worst case scenario we will start shading more tents.
No worries littlevixen you are all good I will go back through and get the list updated tonight or tomorrow. Right now there are more people off it than on it.

Hello all. maybe this is the wrong place for this but I am looking into coming to Bonnaroo this year and it will be my first time. I might be going solo because I guess my friends dont like camping and good music. My question is what is it like for a first timer going it alone?
Is it advised to go alone the first time? I have no idea what to expect but there are so many bands that I would love to see and want to go so bad but I have been to other concerts alone and it wasnt the best time. Any input would be great. Also I am coming from the Chicago area if anyone lives in the area, maybe we can become friends before hand and go together.
Thanks for the help. I think I might buy my ticket today and if no one else joins then oh well. I have lived to long being concerned with the what ifs and I kinda have decided this is I am going to start living life and what will be will be but it is still hard adjusting at times. you can 90% count on me being there as it stands right now.

Well Roo for sure. Oh and I forgot to ask this as well and forgive me if I sound stupud but what is camp Inforoo and tent only? These might be dumb questions but as I said I am new and know nothing about it I was sold at great music and camping.
From what I understand Tent only is just that only tents no cars. Where do you park your car and how far will you have to lug your stuff to Tent only? I feel like that could be a lot of work to drag that much stuff from your car to however far Tent only is. Kinda funny that I say it can be a lot of work considering I am a MMA fighter or at least in training.

Tent only is what you would think. You get parked wherever the volunteers put you, and you can camp next to your car or you can pack up all your stuff and drag it down to tent only. Camp inforoo is where some of the people on this board put together a big community campsite.
So if I wanted I could set up my tent next to my car and if I decide to move to tent only I can pack up and head over? That is saying that all the space isnt already taken. Ugh Choices Choices.
Tent Only does not open until sometime on Thursday. If you get camped in 007 (BFE) you are not allowed to even leave that area until sometime after 12 noon.
Really.... Noon? I thought they let you out of BFE when they opened the main gates up.
What has two thumbs and just bought his ticket for Bonnaroo 2011? This guy!! See you there, as it stands I am going solo. Anyone in the Chicago Area PM me if you are going maybe we can form a caravan to the farm.
We would love to stay at Camp Inforoo. It's our first time coming to Bonnaroo and it would be nice to have some veterans to help show us the way. Plus its nice to put a face to the people who are on inforoo. We probably won't land in Nashville until 4:00pm thursday, i'm not sure if that will be to late or what but that is the way it looks for now. Oh yeah, there is 3 of us coming, all from Calgary.

Halo guys! This will be me and my friend's first Bonaroo this year. We are two young-ish girls from the Northeast who never thought in our wildest dreams we'd be attending, but some how we've collected the funds, and it is happening for us. Camp Inforoo sounds like the perfect spot for us to feed off some good vibes and distribute them back out as well

I might be incorrect on that time. Not totally sure.

We will do our best to save you guys some space, are you taking the shuttle from the airport?
I will go back through and add people to the list again in a couple of days.
Yeah we are shuttling from the airport in Nashville. I'm trying to get flights that leave on wednesday evening but I'm having a hell of a time right now. As of right now we will either land at BNA at 3:45pm or 4:30pm on the 9th.
Having never done tent only before, I'm wondering what kind of coordination there is in Camp inforoo? For example, at All Good last year we put together like 6 ez-ups or so to make a much bigger camp site and put the tents around that. Do you guys do anything similar normally? Would be nice.

It is the same idea except we do not caravan in together. Infogood last year was the typical Inforoo setup for a group camp.

So we are no longer going to be in tent only. We have decided to rent a vehicle at the airport becuase it is the same cost as the combined cost of 3 shuttle passes and it will provide a little extra security for things like passports. I still want to check out camp inforoo and will for sure be there for the brunch.
this may or may not be a dumb question butttttt i am a 'rookie so forgive me....
why does only camp inforoo vip have a theme? or is this not the case? or am i really confused? or....?
Well they have a lot more people, despite all the people confirming on here if past years are any guide we will get about 1/3 of everyone who says they are coming. Secondly they camp with their cars because they are guaranteed a good spot being in VIP so it is pretty east to get unnecessary items to camp, vs carrying them 1.5 miles in a wheelbarrow.
I suppose we could have a theme but just having camp is enough for me.
