Im really hoping for a STS9 sunrise jam friday and explosions on saturday night-sunday sunrise Just imagine saturday night/sunday morning as the sun is rising getting to jam out to explosions to close out the last night of roo. It would be perfect for me.
I have a feeling Bassnectar will get bumped up to Deadmau5 spot (if that can be considered a "bump up"). Id love to get torn apart late night by the womps and then get a nice relaxing sunrise explosions come down.
1. Buffalo Springfield 2. String Cheese Incident or Primus
Late Night Tents
1. Bassnectar followed by Girl Talk 2. Pretty Lights followed by STS9 3. SuperJam featuring Dr. John and Dan Auerbach 4. Ratatat followed by Explosions in the Sky 5. Gypsy Punk Revue 6. Atmosphere, Wiz Khalifa, Chiddy Bang, Jovanotti and J. Cole (not all of them, a mixture of three of them)

hey yall, one of my friends (who lives in NOLA) talked to GPJ and he said the Dr. John and The Meters set will be late night. didn't say which day though.
i know i just started posting around here so you don't have much of a reason to believe me, but i promise no foolies on this one. just passing along what a good friend of mine said.

I believe you. No foolies
And a CoCo to you sir for the obscure South Park reference.
Or.....to piggy back off your logic ITM, do you think AC/S would make a late night tent for Dr. John? Perhaps Dr. John and the Original Meters perform Desitively Bonnaroo > Dr. John and Dan Aurerbach Superjam????? The track length for the entire Desitively Bonnaroo album is only 37 minutes.
EDIT: providing Dr. J and the Meters "jam" out and lengthen some of the studio tracks and to maybe allow for 2-3 additional songs: I could see Desitively Bonnaroo getting 90 minutes and then the subsequent Superjam getting 90-120 minutes. Also I'm thinking if the Black Keys are indeed playing Saturday, it would make sense to have the Superjam later that evening a la late night.

Didn't even think of them being one after the other. That could work I think.
I know the album is short but they will likely jam and take a few minutes between songs if there are a lot of guests and stuff. I could see them playing some tunes after the album too.

Lil Wayne String Cheese Incident Bassnectar Girl Talk Dr. John with the Original Meters and Allen Toussaint performing Desitively Bonnaroo Pretty Lights STS9 Gogol Bordello Big Boi Scissor Sisters Ratatat Bootsy Collins & the Funk University Shpongle Presents Shpongletron Experience The Black Angels
Do we pray that Lil Wayne is up against the funk jam, in hopes that throngs will flock to Wayne? Or does that just mean the funk jam will be even more crowded?
