To clarify, the posting tallies thing is more about not having 6-8 different folks posting them. There have been mistakes in the past and everyone doesn't always double check before posting. One mistake leads to several false tallies it can really screw a round up. If it's the start of a new page or I haven't checked in the past couple posts, go ahead, but there is typically no need for one with every single vote.
That's fair. I think it irritated me more than anything because I don't like it when players post vote tallies when I'm reffing (although I sometimes do it when others are), so since you specifically mentioned it, it seemed unnecessary to me for kdogg to post a vote tally 2 minutes after he voted.

So wow.... I toadally forgot that we were playing mafia until I went to bed last night. Sorry but I swear I'm not mafia so with that being said....
I don't think either one of these two are guilty. That is usually how it works the first round, two townspeople get set up so at least one if not two of the following people are mafia:
We are now in a runoff, a.k.a. a good ol fashion dual between JHam and LLL
I have carried over the previous votes, but you may change them at any time . . . any time . . . time is ticking . . . for someone
JHam - 2 LLL - 2
Votes
NBF >> JHam NoD >> JHam Bacon >> LLL SFA >> LLL
Left To Vote Higgi Jham LLL Kdogg Noage Bek Kel
And on that reasoning, I would assume that either NoD or SFA (is not both) are mafia bc they were the votes to put these peeps in the run off. Alternately, it could be NBF/NoD=mafia or Bacon/SFA=mafia but I think that would be too easy.
I also have an idea about another possible mafia member but it is too early to mention names until that person puts theirself out there a little more (or not at all).
BUT the fact of the matter remains that I HAVE to vote for jham or LLL and unfortunately due to my forgetfullness, I am now faced with the deciding vote which I absolutely loathe. I'm gonna do a little raw thinking out loud here, if you don't mind.
JHam - will buy me a corndog this weekend if I spare him... but I hate corndogs which is probably partially fueled by my great disdain for mustard. If I help to off him, he might really take me out in Memphis. Also, he is still new to mafia, this is only his second(?) game.
LLL - is hot... but all the pretty girls always get the breaks. However, my unmentioned possible mafia suspect voted for LLL and I don't necessarily want to vote WITH that person but said person may not even be mafia anyway. Additionally, this is her first game and in agreeance with kdogg, I would hate to see her go so early bc I like to see new people play and enjoy themselves and it also throws a curveball bc they are totally unpredictable and you will never know what their role is until the end.
Jham, I will spare you this round and you can keep your corndog but I will take a beer in honor of kdogg who will be at home(capital building)/work in Madison.
My decision for changing my vote is this, if i didn't i was letting somebody who could possibly be mafia have the deciding vote. If I changed my vote I was 100% sure a towny had the decision.

I have used this strategy in the past.
So why wouldn't you just vote for jham to begin with if you plan to save him? Or wait to be the last to vote?
Also, you might know you're a townsperson, but we don't so why would you basically tie a noose around your neck?
Not that I'm complaining because I def did NOT want the deciding vote but just saying.... there are holes in your explanation imo. I mean, you do realize that you are the very reason LLL is in the run off to begin with, right?
Well my original vote for LLL was completely random and I probably wouldn't have voted for LLL had I remembered the voting arrangement LLL made. After it happened though I saw no reason to change. Now I do.
Also I think I have a pretty consistent record of doing something that makes me look suspicious in the first round.

I feel like Mafia usually don't/wouldn't make such a blatant move in the first round. Not saying I trust Bacon 100%, but I feel like I have a good idea about how he plays as a mafia member and that vote was not it.

1. Superbek: I think your explanation about forgetting the game is a wee bit lame, and your remembering just in time to cast the last runoff vote is mighty convenient, especially since by the time you cast that vote, Bacon had changed and you didn't even have to cast the deciding vote.
2. Bacon's vote change does seem awfully bold, but he does often do suspicious things in Round 1, but Bacon's a bold player, and I wouldn't put it past him to switch a vote last minute to save a fellow mafia member if he could.

For the record, I'm leaving for Knoxville tomorrow. I'll still be checking in and posting as much as possible, but I may have a little less to say in the next few days, especially tomorrow and next Tuesday, when I'll be in airports and on airplanes for most of the day.
Bacon changing his vote without any real suspicion really bothers me, I don't know about anyone else. Bacon originally did the exact same thing that I did in my first game (voted for someone who already had a vote coming their way. I did this as a rookie mistake, and got killed off immediately. I doubt bacon did this as a rookie mistake, its possible, but not likely, and if it was a rookie mistake, I would imagine he would have changed it.
So anywho, we had 2 people stack votes, Bacon and NoD, and neither are in the runoff. NoD never wavering on his vote against me, (a vote with no merit, whatsoever), and bacon changing his vote last minute, to save LLL, both of these actions seem awfully fishy to me.
I can only hope that my fellow townspeople take this for what it is worth.
As the sun was setting on the first day of Bonnaroo, the community had gathered to discuss who was going to be the first to go. While this was opening day at Roo, someone would not make it to their first show. Obviously there were no volunteers. With an incredible guitar shred echoing from That Tent the ears of one heard it as a death march It was a bittersweet guitar shred for someone . . . someone on their way to the Pit of Despair . . . . .
The townspeople have spoken, JHams luck has run out, and it was time to go toe to toe with death
Needless to say, death won
Day one is over, let the late night rage begin
Townies - go rage with the smileys Mafia - PM me your kill Inspector - PM me your guess
Mafia and Inspector - you may rage after I receive your PM's, if not, more heads will roll

I hear what you're saying and understand your suspicion but... you're wrong this time babe.
I rarely point things out in the first round unless they strike me as odd and this time it did. Bottom line is at least one of the vote stackers is a mafia member, would I have pointed that out if I was in fact a mafia member?
Also, I'm going to Memphis this weekend in case y'all missed the memo earlier... be back Tuesday.
All gaming aside, NBF can we PLEASE do lunch or drinks or something the next time you're in town? k thanx
yea it's been ridiculous. i've been dragging ass ever since I left California!!
Were you at the Railroad Revival show up in Phoenix? I saw somebody that looked like you and he was singing along to the Avetts song playing over the PA
it seemed unnecessary to me for kdogg to post a vote tally 2 minutes after he voted.
For one, it's kind of a force of habit for me to update tallies after I vote. Second, Mike D had been updating the tally after just about every vote on that page... at least I gave it two votes and about ten posts. I find a vote tally to be helpful after a long stretch of discussion.
Usually kdogg will text me to remind me if I am absentee for any period of time but this time, this was not the case.
For disclosure, the most recent text I have sent Bek: "I wish you would at least POKE ME in the time you're not reading my medium-length posts. Boooo." Sent April 24, 3:40pm (Central) For some months now, Bek waged a Facebook poke war against me, which she declared. It was going pretty good for a while, with us going poke for poke, but she's tapered off lately. My text archives (yes, I actually set up SMS poke notifications in my FB settings over this) show that she hasn't poked me since the 16th. Enough backstory: my point is the text didn't get a response. And it happened after she already knew the game is in progress. Why send a second message encouraging Bek to participate when the first one was met with no response?
If someone doesn't know the game is in progress, then yes, I will send a reminder. Kelaroo will vouch for that, I got a hold of her near the end of the first vote. Once the game gets going and you've come to participate, though, I think you're responsible for keeping up on your own. It's not like you don't know there's a game in progress once you've been here to participate. Of course, when I'm Referee or there's a vote deadline looming, I am more likely to lean on people in those situations.
Of course, just my luck, now that it seems everybody is here at about the same time... I have to travel to Madison for an exploratory workshop about returning to college. Third anniversary of my college graduation is on the horizon, and I'm still just a fucking pizza delivery boy
After a long, loud night of crazy sets at This, That, and The Other tent, Thursday was officially over. The townies of Roo had all stumbled back to their campsite for a few hours of much needed rest, and some had to rely on others to get there
There was one who was a little too trusting of others and paid the price . . . .
Thinking you were being led back to your nice and cozy tent by your fellow townies, you instead found yourself being escorted by three drunk hoodlums
The lights and sounds of Centeroo were diminishing in the distance as you are forcefully headed towards the medical compound. Once inside, you are directly taken to an elevator. Down, down, down it goes, eventually stopping some 100 ft below the grounds of Bonnaroo. A dark room is suddenly pierced with a single light on some weird contraption. A contraption to wash the Bonnafunk away possibly
No, this is not your typical bath.
The Mafia have spoken,
Against her will, Bek was bathed in a flesh-eating acid, leaving only her newly fashioned Bonnadreads for other to be warned
All gaming aside, NBF can we PLEASE do lunch or drinks or something the next time you're in town? k thanx
Well, it sucks that you're going to be out of town this weekend, because I'm probably not going to be back until Thanksgiving or Christmas. But I'll let you know if I give in and decide to go back sooner.
But but but.. (butting my nose in..) didn't Jham die about 2:45 ? please ignore if i missed the resurrection rule. Reading to learn. Sorry to interupt the regularly scheduled program. Will not do it again.
