Totally understand that it's just that I love PL's music exponentially better, and still have yet to see his epic new set-up. Even though I've seen him before I've been listening to his albums nonstop all year, and I've been dying to see him again. I may check out a little bit of shadow though, the shadowsphere looks amazing

Sucky situation, sorry guys.
But this does bring up something I was thinking about the other day. There seems to be so many new/second year/rebirths of florida festivals this year, and they are all in the fall. Seems like a risky move for this exact reason...

Just looking at the tour schedule, by the time they make the "rescheduling" announcement, they'll be well on their way to the west coast in New Mexico. From there they go to california then up to washington. It wouldn't be cost affective to haul the entire touring set-up back down to the exact opposite corner of the country, would it?

Seriously.. if they were gonna cancel anyways I WISH the hurricane did come. Then I would've had off work today and I could've driven to tampa last night
I just can't see something like this working at one of those outdoor shed venues. It's also interesting to me how hit or miss the lineup is. On the one hand, you've got great acts like DJ Shadow, Hercules & Love Affair and Holy Ghost! Then you've got hacks like Kaskade, Skrillex, and Steve Aoki.

Also, to those who went- how was the turnout?
I'm curious as to whether or not this festival was a hit. And whether or not it will be back in the future- of if we'll see other touring electronic festival copycats

I went to the Charlotte date last Tuesday and it wasn't all that packed. I could stage hop back and forth and would be right up front for every band. It might have been since it was Tuesday though.

I will be hitting the Dallas show Sunday. I am mainly going for DJ Shadow, but plan on catching Crystal Method and Pretty Lights if it doesn't conflict. Just not enthused with the weather. it's supposed to be 107 that day. I am sick of all these 100+ days, we are at or near 60 this year, with 40 in a row at one point. Austin has had over 70 100+ days, I would have no problems with a hurricane cancellation at this point.

The Dallas show had a good turnout. It was hard to tell completely since the stages were kinda far apart. It seems like rusko or Pretty Lights had the best crowd. DJ Shadow did mention it was his last show on the tour also. I would definitely say it was $20 well spent. The only issue we had is that it was 108 outside. A couple of my friends bailed due to the heat.
