So, I think this tour is a brilliant idea. Electronic music is exploding and this is the first touring festival of it's kind. But is it just me or is it REALLLLY lame to have dance music in a seated ampitheatre? I don't wanna seat in front of me and behind me when I'm trying to dance!

I highly doubt people will be using the seats. That said, I feel like large amphitheaters are not the best venue for this tour. Being way back on the lawn while a DJ spins on a stage way the hell in front of you just isn't appealing to me, unless it's someone with a big stage show like Daft Punk or The Chemical Brothers

I'm not familiar with most of the venues, but the tampa venue and miami venue have built in seats in front of the stages (which I'm certain will be the main stage) I'm sure there will be free space in front of all the other stages, but for most of the artists I wanna see most I'll be stuck in the bleachers.
edit: I see now you were suggesting PEOPLE won't be using the seats, not that the venue won't use the seats. My bad. I agree with you though, for most DJs I really don't care about being up close to see them. I usually stand further back for dancing room. But I don't think there will be much space for that in the seated areas.

I'll be the one who broke her neck because of dancing on top of the seats, but dang it I'm going to try!

I bought an earlybird ticket only to find out the venue absolutely sucks. Has a no tailgating policy. And it's the same setup with seating under the pavilion and a big lawn area. It'll be interesting, that's for sure!! And PL won't be at our location...not very happy about that!
Just got my $20 ticket for the Aug 18th, and could get standard mail shipping (up to 2 weeks until I get it) included to get actual tickets to keep as a souvenir
Seeing as how most of the dates are on weekdays when people work, that wouldnt surprise me... I got mine anyway, even though for all I know I might have a fulltime job that conflicts and not be able to go by then.
