Found someone from Richmond that can come up to fairfax and need a ride. Can leave from Fairfax where her friend thats also volunteering lives. We're trying to see if we can squeeze them in our caravan but 2 people with gear might be pushing it and they *at least* need a ride back up north I think (unless I find out they can go up with friends)

I doubt any of y'all will be going down when I am. (June 2nd) But I can assist with gear if you need to make room for one or two more people. WET Volunteers who are doing their work Pre-Fest should request to work with the ICE and Water crew.
I also live in Manassas. I will be packing Friday the 1st and leaving early the 2nd.
I got a response from immortal, but doesnt sound like he's quick to reply and probably not a volunteer. He's willing to go down early but thatd be complicated for having a place to stay Tues night and someone to drive him in on Wed since unlicensed.
Jater, I'll throw out the idea to my crew for the midfest/during fest people (cause we wont have any cars out there for them, so have to do a drop off). Will let you know if anyone is open to that idea. We leave Monday morning, June 4th.
i have my own cart so getting stuff from our compound (behind tent 3 "the other tent") to WET camping out by POD 1 shouldn't be a problem. Happy to help.

Hey jater76, would it be possible for me to catch a ride with you? I am volunteering pre-fest and need to check in on Sunday June 3rd. I am in Asheville, NC, so if you're taking 81, it's only about an hour and a half longer drive detour. I am having hell finding other people arriving early to ride with. (I will also send a PM).

Yeah, I made a topic on the WET forums, and have been posting around but have not found any other pre-festers that are driving near western North Carolina.

I'm in the d.c. area (McLean, VA specifically) and I am looking for one more to fill up our car!
I'm the driver and I'm willing to drive anyone who can drive to me/ is along the way/ or can get to me via the D.C. metro system. (I'm at West Falls Church metro stop)
Also I'm willing to join whatever caravan is happening here. If whoever is in charge of it can call me sometime at 703-593-7454 it'd be really helpful cuz I prefer to talk on phone.

If anyone from the area (or willing to meet in Northern Virginia) plans to volunteer let me know and I can friend you on Facebook and add you to the event page I've made. I have a group of friends I generally gather (some returning volunteers, some new) and we usually leave Monday morning, stay within an hour or 2 of Manchester Monday night, get any shopping done, and ready for check-in on Tuesday...

I don't need a ride there, but I am going to DC after Bonnaroo and could use a ride. I was thinkin' of flying or renting a car from Nashville, but sharing a ride would be more 'Roo-ish.
