Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
And an email from Moogfest. No additions but the Synth group art show with Wayne as a special guest artist. He will be doing limited prints for the festival.
I'm buying Bishop two of em. Back Off.
Garageland, you're the shit. Thanks for being so on the ball with all the updates. I feel like these boards are more up to date with what is going on at Moog than their facebook or website.
This is why I think it's gonna be around there: Schedule is subject to change. A full interactive schedule with times and venues that will sync with your smart phone will be released in mid October so stay tuned and get ready for a mind blowing weekend in the 4th dimension!

Just realized I should post this here, too. I put it in the Recent Shows thread, but it applies directly to Moogfest, so I'll copy it to here. Please check them out at Moog! I know I'll be back, barring some disastrous conflict.
Saw Adrian Belew Power Trio with Stickmen last night at the Bijou in Knoxville. Actually, I got there too late to see Stickmen (I teach until 7:35 and had to eat afterward), but I saw ABPT and the King Crimson set afterward. WOW!! I was absolutely blown away. The drummer for ABPT was phenomenal! He had some real chops.
After the main act, they did a short break before coming back on- just Adrian, Pat, and Tony. They played a few songs, and then the guitarist from Stickmen joined. On the next song, the drummer from ABPT joined, and then the bassist from ABPT joined for the last 3 + the encore of 2 or 3 more. One of the last songs featured a duel between the two drummers, and it was absolutely nuts. It was like an old Western film shootout, in drum form. They had fundamentally different styles, so when they dueled back in forth, it wasn't like a battle to one-up each other. It really was something to behold. I hope a video surfaces online soon (I'll be looking- I saw people recording it).
Adrian was top notch as well. He really hasn't lost his stride at all. He did a lot of really creative stuff plus played with a lot of cool effects. One of my favorites was when he made his guitar play piano songs, presumably through the macbook that it was hooked into. He did some cool piano playing without ever having a piano, and the slides down the strings sounded really interesting in piano form.
I was surprised by how few younger people were there. In a crowd of about 200-300 people, about 90% looked to be above 45 (which is pretty rare in a mostly college-aged or 20-something city). It makes sense that it would be that way given they're famous for being in King Crimson, but still. To eb fair, though, I went with my dad (who is 62) because he is a huge King Crimson fan. In fact, he saw them perform back in their heyday.
Now here is the thing. I have garbage bags full of clothes I'm getting ready to donate. You folks think its a summers breeze thing to do and make them give me entries for all the clothes I have?

I'm interviewing Hans-Joachim Roedelius in a couple days and I just wanted to give people here a chance to ask a question if they want. Anybody got anything for him?

Oh and BTW, Congrats as I have forgotten to tell you.
Cluster is one of my favorite bands ever. I'm friends with Roedelius on FB and he's always available to chat. I've just never been drunk enough to do it.

1) How did Eno come to involvement with Harmonia and Cluster? 2) Is there any space in particular that you like to play or record? 3) What artists (musicians or otherwise) made you want to play music? 4) Can you describe the differences between Kluster/Cluster/Qluster? 5) Knowing how extensive your catalog is .. Do you have any personal favorites?
Thats all I got for now, oshoney. I'm sure I'll have some more in the AM.

Have you tried the White Chocolate Kit Kats though?
I haven't but have always been intrigued by them. I like candy with peanut butter in it. M&Ms, Twix, Reese's Cups are all awesome.
White chocolate Reeses, dude! That's what's up, because the white chocolate doesn't over power the peanut butter.... delicious. The white chocolate Kit Kat, not so much. Now, the amazing Kit Kats from Japan are the best!! Green Tea is my favorite, but I have in no way had all the flavors. They have about 30 kinds of Kit Kats over there!

30 kinds? Why are the Japanese so crazy for Kit Kats?
