They let the bus drive in... And one of their executives hopped on the bus to welcome us and said that we were the first yes....

Im a bit older (24) and on the computer allll day... the youngin's just wanna have fun not put up with a creepy old man like you dude... Not to mention that I basically put myself up on the block when I put together the bus and needed to get pertinent information which this board is really great for till creeps like yourself and a few others start up...
I did. I got to almost all of them. There were a few that didn't plaster their entire lives over a social network.

FYI, after attending roo it affirmed my belief that you need to be a pretty terrible parent to bring your kids to roo... I love how you worried about a bus load of 19-30 year olds, all of which can wipe their own @$$, instead of stopping and thinking it is a terrible idea to bring your kids to bonnaroo.... Every time I saw an infant, toddler or child I was reminded of you and your plans to bring your kids, and without me saying anything someone else would say "who the F brings their kids to bonnaroo, someone should call child services on her/him/them"

I was waiting on Bonnaroo to respond as a matter of fact. If I did have a spine Id post the emails up of my communication but have no need or desire to do so. The only logistic question that I didnt have an answer to and which I was HONEST about was not knowing if we would be allowed past the gates... for which I had a back up planned but had no need to share with you because you werent coming to begin with.
I put up that post to avoid YOU in particular.... I wanted to get candid feedback and it pretty much confirmed what I thought.... use google maps... FYI I had a better set of directions as I was a member of the press..

BTW, I never asked Carina to post anything... She actually opened up the original thread on her own and told me about it.... She had just quit her job and helped our of her own goodwill. According to the survey not one person bought a ticket through inforoo FYI.

@kruncykat go reread the original threads you will see where the attacks began... Not judging anyone just defending myself Also, when I say you or the board, the thread, or inforoo I really just mean a select few, not all inforoosters - to be clear.
Scrog, what part did you miss? I said I would be willing to run the boss at a loss if need be, meaning profit wasnt my PRIMARY concern on this trip, it of course is still a concern and why wouldnt I try to make it a profitable run? Do you have a hard time with reading comprehension?
Let me reexplain:
1. I thought up the bus because I knew I didnt want to drive, knew I wouldnt be able to find a ride easily, and knew other people have the same problem as I do (if you care to dig and and check my track-record you will notice that most of the businesses I join, start or consult have to do with common problems that usually I can relate to...)
2. I ran the program under my holdings company, therefor utilizing my companies capital to market and contract the bus. I also established my contacts through my company and represented myself via my company.
3. What I had stated in the thread was that I was willing to take a loss on the run, of course I had planned to reach a profit but the point I was making is even if you convinced all the people in the world to not buy anymore tickets they, the 15 people who had already paid would be transported to and from bonnaroo.
4. The bus reached its cap (set under max) and my profits are my business, literally. Nearly half the bus asked/stated "I hope you made money on this man, what a great idea, thank you so much for organizing..."

More importantly I understand what you are saying and where you are coming from, I was being a bit aggressive on the forum marketing side - just wanted to get to a threshold, nonetheless I do understand that it is against the rules and it is annoying
And yes, you are correct all my ventures are to create profit for my company at the end of the day there is no denying that. But I wanted to help people plain and simple.
roodood, I'm glad you got everyone there in one piece and they all had a good time.
Inforoo can be a very helpful tool to you, if you know how to use it properly. I'm afraid you did not get off to a good start, and I'm not sure things can be mended at this point.

Hahahahaha the rape bus has been pure gold for months now. I really hope you do it again next year so we can do it all over again. Actually what I'm even more excited for is when you realize that your actions made superfly realize that they could make money by contracting the rights to a Bonnaroo bus from New York (and maybe other cities) and make money off your idea.
