I sent LIGuy a message instead of posting, but my question was along the lines of why the #$%@#&* was the tent only section moved and cars parked in the spot where it used to be, just with nicer language...
My question revolves around the recordings of the Bonnaroo sets. Prices were better before itunes, quality was better before itunes. why was there a sudden switch to itunes and a complete abandonment of livebonnaroo.com?
also, when can we expect some more music from Bonnaroo 2007 other than what is up on itunes now?

i'd like to see grass inside the tents instead of sand
the jazz tent needs to be bigger
we could use some bands on the which stage thursday night, maybe even a latenight act
what will be new in 2008, any more tents with certain kinds of music, maybe a blues tent that looks like a blues club, or will they be building anything, how about a rave tent, i know some light night acts fit into the rave/dance/techno scene but how about making it look more like a rave
what about bringing back those poles with the holes in them, that were there in 05 in between the comedy tent and this tent, those things that made noises when you moved your hands over them, i can't remember what they're called but they were really cool late at night
can they make more room at the sonic stage, when warren haynes played there solo this past year, i couldn't see him or hear him
are they planning on using up more of the land they own, behind this tent there seems to be a lot of room for stuff, i know its nice to chill back there, and they have the art such n such stuff or you can play frisbee golf, but maybe spread things out a little more
back to my idea of building anything, i had a dream last week about being at bonnaroo the week before it started and seeing them building things, real restrooms, i can't remember much from my dream, but in my dream i was just standing by the arc watching buildings being built but i wasn't sure what they were for
my dream goal in life is to play my music at bonnaroo in front of a lot of people, i know they got the gibson guitar thing by the sonic stage, but didn't they have some type of garage looking thing in 06 where you could play music, i always take my guitar to roo, i usually just leave it locked in my car, i really really hope one day i can play at roo, how about making the coffehouse part a little bigger with a small stage, and maybe they could have the fans who play music play there, that would be fucking awesome, like an open mic night or something, maybe the comedy tent could have an open mic night as well
also, can i buy some property on bonnaroo's land, and live there and build a house, every time i leave roo, i never want to go home, i want to live at bonnaroo even if its just a field most of the year
Anyone have any more questions? I am looking for questions that are not general complaints or specifics about next year such as who is playing next year and what not.
How many people does it take to set the up the farm each year?
How many people work the fest during?
What is the latest they have ever scheduled a band (Have they ever added a band less then a month out?)
How far out do they usually have the schedule made up?
What is the most insane moment when creating the festival?
Do the creators wander the grounds when they are not busy?
How often to bands request to come to roo?
How many do they turn away in a year?
What was their first "Wow is is truly awesome" moment?
What are the relations between Manchester and Roo really like? (The town can't love us that much?)
Do they look at other fests and think We should try to bring this _____ to roo? (Have them fill in the blank.
What are their biggest worries the day before the gates open?
What do they hope to achieve with the fest in 5 years (Besides the making some cash?)
Would they try to pull off Zooma again?
What is one thing they wish they could do at Roo but is too crazy or simply can't be done?
Have they ever though to simply stop having roo every year?
Have they noticed the social networking sites bringing more attention to Roo?
How many people and how long does it take to pick bands and set the schedules?
Honestly it's a logistics nightmare isn't it?
Do they relax once the fest gets going?
When are they going to give Weird Al some late night love?
What do they think is worse mud or dust? (I say dust btw.)
What is their perfect late night set? (three bands only)
Tell them thank you for so many great years of music and my yearly Tenn vacation. I would of never met so many cool people and heard so many great bands and for that I and so many other thank them.

funk...wow! well said!! i had some of those questions on the tip of my tongue, but i just couldn't think of good wording. i came to post one today, and i saw that you had done it for me...karma!
Ask them about the overall "green" aspects of the fest.
Alternative power for the stages, recycled building products for new structures, biodegradable cups n' stuff, etc, etc, etc
It'd be cool to have a cup from Bonnaroo that you could REFILL w/ beer or whatever, instead of getting a new one. It would definately cut down on trash. They could even charge less for the refill

I LOVE the refillable cup idea, a Bonnaroo '08 cup that holds a few extra ounces, closeable would be awesome but I doubt they'd make it closeable.. it would really cut down on trash like Aly said.
I would also like to see them start discouraging plastic water bottles and encouraging gallon jugs to refill canteens.
Edit: and if they like the refillable cup idea..they should put a small inforoo rooster on the bottom or something

I think you should ask them to reconsider the design of the Comedy and Jazz tents. So many of those artists have good-sized followings, but not everyone who wanted to see them was able to because of the capacity limits in the small tents. I still got to catch the Stanton Moore Trio and Mago, but many others didn't and walked away disappointed.

What else are they planning on using the land for, since they have purchased a nice chunk of it? I think if Led Zeppelin was to do an American tour, or at least one American show, I think the Bonnaroo farm would be an ideal place for it, same with a Phish reunion one day. I mean let's face it, the idea of Led Zeppelin headlining Bonnaroo would be a dream come true, but it just seems very unlikely, still, that doesn't mean they can't play the Bonnaroo farm. A Pink Floyd reunion here would be nice as well.
In line with some of the previous questions, my question would be something like this: "Last year there was a noticeable addition of heavier, progressive acts such as Tool, Clutch, and Wolfmother. Is there any other genre in which Superfly would like to have more artists at Bonnaroo in the coming years?" and "If Superfly was guaranteed that any artist they asked would play at any price, what would be their dream lineup for Bonnaroo (the more unrealistic the better)?"

I do not know if this is a relative thread still but my question is as follows:
What are the chances of having a true dedicated, local artist tent (local to roo could be mostly TN but the entire southeast)? It should consist of bands not big enough for the national scene ye but good enough (by the minds of Superfly) to expose those bands and show what roo has done to the south in creating a new wave of great music in the south. Just something I think roo could really display, and also give back to the music community developing around the area.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
