Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I may have an interview set up with someone from Superfly. I would like to bounce some ideas off of you guys and see what you are interested in knowing. Just post them here and I will consider them.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

Have they considered turning thursday into a full day of music? and/or Have they thought about keeping the same thurs. format, but adding a smaller headliner on the which stage?
Have they considered putting a video screen or two on the which stage for the artists with larger audiences? (ex. white stripes crowd)

oooh!!! you should ask what kinds of changes we can expect now that they own the farm, and whether changes will be visible next year. i keep hearing about infrastructure, but what specifically will be different, if you can get that out of them...
do you write for a paper/magazine/website, or just for inforoo? let us know if it's for a publication, so we can get our hands on a copy!
and i would also like to suggest a screen for the which stage! i couldn't see a damn thing at white stripes this year, mostly because i came directly from feist.

This would be published on the board. We are toying with the idea of doing interviews/articles in some form leading up to Bonnaroo.
BTW..there are some good questions, so please keep them coming. The more the merrier.

Why is there no wine or liquor sold in Centeroo? The local vineyard would be wonderful to have there!
We need big screens at the Which stage for us short people.
Will they fix day parking so we can day park on Thursday. I hate paying for a ticket for 4 days but not being able to go on all 4 days because I am not able to camp.
Overall tell them how wonderful Bonnaroo is and not to become too commercial or sell out!!

this is awesome you're getting a chance to speak with someone from Superfly! I would like to know that since they've been mixing up the music... for example having heavy prog rockers Tool headline this years roo, will we be seeing a more diverse music genre? I'm just curious because I'm wondering if Superfly will introduce more "alternative rock" to bonnaroo and how that will fly with everyone..

Well, hopefully I will get the chance. They seem intested, but they want to know what they are getting into first.
I would like to know, 1. with the money that VIP cost's , could they (superfly) put a little more effort to provide a better caterer, with maybe a slightly higher caliber of pride , and workmanship. who could provide a better meal with a little more food . less salad, energy food , im sure they can do better than what they did for roo 07 2. could they express to the food vendors to TRY and use some sanitary gloves , take precaution as to the well being of the product they are selling at double the price . 3. what would it take to swap the fountain water maybe 1/2 way though the fest ? because that water was totally nasty after the 2nd day, and the last day it was shooting out mud .
I don't think we really want to use the interview as another channel for complaints and requests, do we? As for possible questions and things that I'm sort of curious about...
- What are some of the other current music festivals they admire?
- Of course, we all realize it's unlikely that drastic lineup changes would draw the migrant fanbase that Bonnaroo now has, but would they ever consider a major overhaul of the whole concept for a big enough profit? After all, at the end of the day, they're a major company that reads in black and red.
- How aware are they of the "culture" that permeates Bonnaroo? - Do they believe the, sometimes, wild genre blending is creating a new breed of music fan?
- Do the organizers spend much, or any, time in the thick of the crowd? Ya know, the jam packed tent crowds, main stage, or even the camping areas.

Also, back to the infrastucture issue....any plans to add RV hookups now that they have "Bought the farm?"??? ;D It would sure save those generator $$$$ and the noise!
Will Bonnaroo's lineup continue to expand to more diverse musical artists?
Is there any chance Superfly is attempting to book Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd for the 2008 edition?
Is there any chance Bonnaroo will plan on expanding the Broo'ers Tent? I love the idea, but I think there should be at least a few more mid-major brewers.
I cant think of anything else. All I really care about is the lineup.
1.Is Ornette Coleman coming back? 2.Will you make any precautions so that an incident like Ornette's won't happen again? 3.Will Bonnaroo keep on with its diversified line-ups? 4.What significant changes will be made on the farm for Roo 2008? 5.And will the jazz tent be back?
