I have to agree on the iced mochas, they are amazing. Yes, a little pricey but absolutely worth it! It's the perfect icy pick me up, every day.
I've tried to think of ways to make my own but I just don't want to bring milk to roo lol....so I will justify spending that money...it's still less than a beer

I really like the build your own pita thing, they have falafel's and gyro meat and all that good stuff...I normally hit that at least twice while I'm at Roo...I don't think it was terribly expensive either and filled me up for most of the day in centerRoo
If Roberta's food truck is there, you'd all be well served to check it out. I go to Roberta's every Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day for Tiki Disco, which is just a sh*tload of people getting hammered in this restaurant's back yard with $5 24 oz. Modelo's. But they churn out these mini brick oven pizzas that are phenomenal.
(I just posted this in the wrong thread, I probably should give up on trying to quit drinking coffee)

A few of my favorites from last year..
The "Good Morning" Crif Dog: Bacon wrapped dog with melted cheese and a fried egg...great way to start off the day Over by the food trucks someone had pork w/ mac & cheese tacos, they were fantastic. lastly, The dutch donuts were legendary

You mentioned my two favs. Good Morning Crif Dog, and the Thurman Merman (roti, not taco, but I get what you mean). The donuts are what I can't wait to try this year. Can't believe I missed them last year.
Said it before and I'll say it again: Spicy Pie! The gator options are always a favorite of mine and I absolutely love arépas! So much delicious food to be had on The Farm!

Evaporated Pet Milk! It makes for a delicious creamer in coffee. It comes in a can and only refridgerated after opening. Just bring a few of the tiny cans(less than $1) So u can use a new one each time.I'm going to brew a couple strong pots of coffe before I go. Put in cooler-just add ice pet milk sugar choice and BAM.

The aerapas were really tasty and filling for $5,, but I was disappointed when she took em out of some generic looking frozen bag. also for $5 the red beans and rice were realitivly cheap and filling for centeroo, but nothing ever beats the garlic grilled cheese guys (they're other stuff is good as well).
side note: really regret buying one of the giant burritos, the asshole who served it to me loaded it up lightly then just plopped it in front of me and gave an evil look. If I had not paid for it beforehand, i sure wouldnt have after that.
So, I started hollerin at him and nobody around took any notice or cared, never again.

-just needed to vent thnx
Yeah, the people who run the burrito place gave off a dickhead vibe to me, too. And the fact that you have to fold it yourself is ridiculous I think. Once was enough for me.

My favorite would have to be the jerk chicken from Siri Grill kinda near the Adult Swim area. I'd never had jerk chicken before, and I liked it so much I ate it AT LEAST once a day. The people working knew my name by Sunday, haha.
I like Spicy Pie as much as the next guy, but it can't hold a candle to the wood fired pizza place in between This Tent and Which. I think I ended up having at least 3 of their pizzas over the course of the weekend.
Love that wood fired pizza, but the lines there are usually long, and the wait for a pie was usually over 10 mins. I do get one every year though, because they're so tasty.
The food trucks always have good eats. Agreed with those in the Thurman Murman camp. Had at least one a day.

Hmm, I must have gotten lucky with the lines at the wood fired pizza place (anyone remember its name?), the lines never seemed much longer then other food places when I went.
Also, last year was my first time at 'roo since they've added the food trucks. I had high hopes, but wasn't all that impressed. To be fair, I only tried a couple things, and I might have just hit them at bad times. I remember getting some fried avocado strip taco and was severely disappointed since it sounded so delicious. I'll be sure and try this Thurman Murman this year though.
Yeah the various Crif Dogs are a must over the weekend but my favorite year in and year out is Praters BBQ at the back of the What stage field
I did enjoy the Crif Dogs quite a bit, they were also at Fun Fun Fun Fest a year or two back.
I tried one of the Praters BBQ sandwiches last year and was less then impressed. It tasted like a generic sandwich from Bill Miller's BBQ (a fast food BBQ chain in Texas). I did go after one of the headliners, and the sandwich was already made, so I'm assuming the sandwich had been sitting there expecting a rush for who knows how long. So whether it was just the lack of freshness, or my bias towards the amazing BBQ in my vicinity (Lockhart, TX isn't too far away and I often work in the area...mmmmmm...Smitty's is making my mouth water!), I couldn't tell you. I just don't think I'll be spending my money at Praters again.

I agree with you regarding the sandwich so I would say go for the wings! You get a lot of bang for your buck and they are the best thing that Praters turns out

I like to hit up Samosaman for a snack or meal each day. Their hot sauce is delicious. I nearly cried when they ran out last year.
<3 Samosaman as well. I think I pick one or two up just about every day. It's a tasty snack, not too expensive, and quite filling. Long live the Samosaman!
The iced chai latte was so refreshing in the heat, and the French toast was amazing! (3 slices of Texas toast layered with nutella, bananas, and bacon)
