Nah. My cousin's in a band called Tiger, Tiger with Brent's wife. Apparently each band member got to choose an opening band for the ATL show, and brent went ahead and chose his wife's band. It's odd because their music doesn't really fit a mastodon show, he said they'll probably bomb. I think he said the Black Lips are going to be there too (which I found a little odd also)
Tiger! Tiger! is pretty good. But definitely a strange fit for that show. The Black Lips make sense to me, though, I think there's actually a big overlap in their fanbases. By which I mean both bands are pretty much universally loved around here.
Any idea what venue they're playing? Or who the other openers are?

It was an incredibly fun show. They played at a ballroom that was built in the late 1800's and is on the third floor, so it literally felt like we were going to fall through the floor at different times.

I know I'm probably the only one on here who is excited about this and you guys will probably laugh at me, but I'm am SOOOOO fucking stoked to see Korn. They just announced a show at the Fillmore. I'm glad they've sunken to a point where they're playing smaller venues, I've only seen them at ampitheatres and arenas
And the openers are dubstep DJ's. Fuckin datsik. This is going to be such a sick show.

I saw Korn open for Pennywise at a place called The Belly Up Tavern in San Diego about twenty years ago. I think I paid $6.00, it was totally worth it. I don't know if I'd see them now. Probably for six bucks. How much are tickets these days?
