way too good to be true. i imagine that these pages may have been created before or during negotiations (possibly even as early as when the site was being designed as test pages) and a good number are no longer viable. not gonna get my hopes up. JBT?? no way in hell that's happening even though I'd crap myself if it turned out to be true
Is it possible that they did this for a bunch of bands in case someone sleuthed like this? And that some of these names are legit? Thats a lot of pages for no reason... There is ALWAYS a reason...
It's a picture of Avicii on Delta Spirit's lineup page with hangout radio's "Avicii" mix. Official Avicii page says he'll be in Sweden on May 16th. Think he'd come back for May 20th?

That would be rad. Ignorantly, there's only one song I'd really love to catch that would get me amped, but I'm sure it would be well worth it

na na na na na na!
;D
i'll be seeing him this weekend in nola. will report back how the show was.
Good additions, but not as many as last year. I guess we get another round later on.
My guess is tickets sold out way quicker than last year so from their perspective and finacially they don't need to add as many bands. I can see them doing some more small additions but not as many as last year.
I'm pumped for the Heartless Bastards. Just saw them and they killed.
Yeah, it probably means nothing. That's a lot of names.
Yeah, seems kinda whack to me. A lot of those bands have played hangout in the past. No way they can have that many additions also, this late in the game.
Im good with the lineup as-is. Anything else is just gravy.
Although there is one band I would like to see, and it could be a late add for sure. Plus they tweeted earlier (or facebooked not sure) that they have some dates scheduled across the south headed back towards Florida.
Deer Tick
I couldn't make it down to the Gasparilla music fest (they were headlining - it was small - tickets wer like 15$) and really want to see them again, sooner rather than later.

It was brought up on the Hangout board that the facebook link on the avicii link takes you to Middle Brother's facebook page.
Yeah dude. Last year was pretty brutal in the middle of the day. Rocked so hard during UM, I was pretty much beat the rest of the day.
Hanout was hotter then bonnaroo I thought (which is crazy, but we got the dust instead)... Hopefully the weather is a little better.
I was fine during the day as long as I was on the sand. Made the heat so much more tolerable for some reason. I suppose it is because chilling in the sand near the Gulf during the summer feels natural to me. The only stage that was truly brutal during the afternoon was the uncovered concrete stage (grooveshark). I think it was Saturday we got there at 1:30 for JJ Grey and Mofro (I'm not a fan but my buddy was). Immediately standing on that black concrete my body hit the fuck it button. I was fine once we got away from that stage.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I have lived in Florida for 17 years. I live through 5 month periods of time when it is 90+ every day. I live about a half block from the beach.
On the Atlantic side...
We get sea breezes every morning and afternoon, but the middle of the day we get almost nothing, and obviously thats when it is hottest. And May is about when the thunderstorms come in in the afternoon. They blow through in about 30 minutes, cool it off a little, then the humidity skyrockets. about 2 hours later, the breeze kicks in and the temp drops.
Im not sure how this compares to the Gulf coast, but I would think it would be somewhat similar.

I was going to ask about this eventually. At least just as hot or hotter than Bonnaroo? Any breeze from the water or anything?
No!!! It was so fing hot... Unless you are against the fence near the ocean. All of the people block the breeze and the heat from the sand never goes away. I had to go over there (to the fence) to cool off a few times. Get your camelbacks (which they dump out), sunscreen, and large hats ready.

So, me and my crew kind of failed and weren't able to get a camping spot at Gulf State Park in time. We don't really know what to do now since we don;t want to get a hotel. Any other campgrounds close to the festival that anyone knows of?
