We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
First, sorry about the delay of my posting, something I ate for dinner has had my stomach doing somersaults.
Anyways, to get right to the point, my post wasn't meant to upset anybody. If that post did bother any of you, I am sorry, honestly.
I brought this idea up several pages back, but said that I couldn't explain my source, and at that point, I didn't really find it to be the most likely scenario. However, as the game progressed, I begin to feel a little more confident about the idea. Once I realized that I would likely be thrust into a runoff, I PM'd our ref and asked if she had any reservations about me posting what I posted. Even after I got approval from her, I was still torn. I contemplated messaging KDogg, and seeing how he would feel about my posting PMs from a previous game, but decided not to, mainly because of all the drama that happened last game. I decided to do it, because I knew that I was most likely to be voted off today, and I didn't want to take my theory to the grave with me. It was information that I obtained without breaking any rules, and I decided that everyone should have access to it.
Again, if any of you feel betrayed or cheated, I am sorry, that was not my intention. I do feel that this is a very grey area, and that after this game is concluded, all of the reoccurring players should debate this issue and decide on a rule for future games.
Also, Sarah, the portion of the post that I edited out was pretaining to another forum member. It was meant as a compliment, but could have possibly (not likely though) hurt someone's feelings, had they taken it the wrong way So I removed it, to hopefully avoid any unnecessary drama between board members.

Oh, I don't doubt that the post wasn't meant to upset anybody. It was meant to save your own ass. If it turns out you aren't mafia and we end up killing all the mafia then I think I'm going to be more pissed that the victory will be tainted by this nonsense. If you are a townsperson, I'm not sure why you'd risk such crappy tactics just to save your OWN ass. This is why I've got to believe that you are mafia. Only they would resort to such things.

So, basically you are saying you KNEW it was a bad decision. I don't buy the whole "taking the theory to the grave" line. You posted a PM in the thread. You didn't summarize a strategy from a past game... you posted an entire PRIVATE MESSAGE from another mafia game in this mafia game.
Again, if any of you feel betrayed or cheated, I am sorry, that was not my intention. I do feel that this is a very grey area, and that after this game is concluded, all of the reoccurring players should debate this issue and decide on a rule for future games.
So you knew it was a grey area and you still did it anyway? To help the townspeople you say? Really now? Do you want a rule named after you? Is that it?
That's an interesting strategy to employ. Lets do this one thing that I'm pretty sure shouldn't be allowed, that will probably change the course of the current game... which might actually save my ass and win me the game in the end. Oh and then we'll discuss it later to see if I was wrong or not.

It was meant as a compliment, but could have possibly (not likely though) hurt someone's feelings, had they taken it the wrong way So I removed it, to hopefully avoid any unnecessary drama between board members.
NOTE: I edited that post to remove something in the portion I quoted that could potentially be hurtful to one of the players.
As someone who wasn't on the inforoo at the time you posted, and didn't notice that you edited your original post, I saw this as you saying "Oh and btw, I took the liberty of editing Mike D's PM to remove all the mean things he said in it." See how I could've thought that??
I think you should be kicked out of the game. Do you honestly think that you might not have just changed the course of the game by breaking a rule that should've existed and probably will after this game?
I hope whichever group you are part of loses. And if that happens to be the townspeople then so be it. I'd rather lose than condone this. I'll be surprised if I'm alone in feeling this way...
Round 1 Jhamm votes scrog Jack votes Jhamm, then Jhamm votes Jack, leaving Scrog out of danger for a runoff. Starts tying Jhamm to Scrog. Scrog is forced to vote someone into a runoff
The first round of mafia, I usually avoid voting for someone who's already got a vote against them, unless I have a good reason to suspect them over any of the other players. But if it's just a first round shot in the dark, I don't want to put someone into the lead that I'm not sure about - I'd rather see it go into a runoff first, even though an 11-person runoff is pretty ridiculous. So instead of voting for someone who already had a vote against them, I went with you.
I think this could have been Jacks hint, but I am not convinced of his chances of being inspector. If Noage was inspector, he tried to keep LLL in the runoff in round 1. It is possible that he thought he could have a last minute effort to stay in considering his post he wrote while NBF closed voting. Although slim, Noage is slightly more likely to have been inspector than Scrog, but still a slim chance.
Why was Jack whacked? He put the nail in the coffin for Noage not as the last vote. Jack had Noage's name possibly? Jack is somewhat of a newer player, although not a noob. Possible.
Hear what? You two voted together for LLL and now Scrog is psychic to your thoughts? Yeah, this doesn't tie yall two together one bit does it SFA?? To me I see another little blunder like what Scrog and Fawn had with their voting, although Fawns response seemed legit at the time in my eyes.
My reason, before anyone asks, is because LLL survived a runoff, and didn't get whacked. She may be mafia, or maybe the mafia thought Jack was the inspector.
Why do both in the runoff have to die
SFA and Jhamm both vote for Holls, then someone else
Runoff starts and Jhamm votes with SFA, Then Scrog jumps on with em.
Jhamm and EAP both switch to Scrog, then EAP goes back. What if EAP had Scrogs name, either guessed or given to start, and this was our clue?
and/or
EAP was killed cause of voting close to them. I can very easily see Mafia killing off folks who vote with em, not against em.
Scrog and SFA both vote Sarah, as did EAP. EAP was a lucky ass guess for them to kill off if EAP was inspector.
Round 3 SFA and JHamm are buddy buddy voting together again, imagine that.
So, looking at this I am calling mafia as SFA, Scrog and Jhamm.
Some of this was jumbled trying to get some of the quotes. If it doesn't make sense let me know.
On another note,
Jhamm - your move does look like the same crap I pulled last round when I was behind and thought I was gonna be offed. It also reminds me of the time I faked inspector as mafia. Throw shit and see if it sticks. It is almost baffling to me how that makes you look more innocent.
As far as the rules and so forth, whatever. It is already in the game and will affect the votes I am sure. Yall have done a decent job of making it look like Sarah, Fawn, Hollie and myself were the most guilty. Granted it did get my attention when LLL mentioned the online, offline deal on Hollie, I feel that party falls in the same boat as Jhamms post. I will make sure to have a ref there next time.
It was a pretty low blow, but I will get over it. I am used to the phrase "Nice guys finish last" and knew it would only be a matter of time before something that was meant to help someone would be turned against me in this game. Buy me a beer and we will call it even.
Round 1 Jhamm votes scrog Jack votes Jhamm, then Jhamm votes Jack, leaving Scrog out of danger for a runoff. Starts tying Jhamm to Scrog. Scrog is forced to vote someone into a runoff
He also jokingly says the reason he is doing it is because Jhamm told him too. Highly unlikely he would give his reason being his fellow mafia member told him too. Even if he was joking, that's not a very smart thing to do 2 games in a row. Actually, if LLL is innocent. Even voting for her like that two games in a row is stupid risky. LLL isn't a dumbass. It raised her suspicious early on. Not smart at all.
Then you have the odds of two players being Mafia together two games in a row. Sure, it's not impossible but it's not very likely. Have you ever seen it happen? No? Neither have I. Granted, the same folks don't play every game.
If noage was inspector he surly would have told us so. He had around 20 hours before his fate was sealed by Jack's vote. Yeah, I don't think Scrog was inspector. In fact, he said he wasn't not long before he died. I agree with you 100% there.
Why was Jack whacked? He put the nail in the coffin for Noage not as the last vote. Jack had Noage's name possibly? Jack is somewhat of a newer player, although not a noob. Possible.
Jack's first game was like Mafia 14 or something. He's been playing longer then any of us.
But it is interesting that you keep bringing up the newer player thing over and over again with almost every post you make. As if it means something magical. Or maybe you are trying to get a new player to feel sympathy with this and side with you?
SFA and Scrog both vote LLL
I set on my vote for her because I had no reason to change it. Scrog was dead set on Noage at the time, I really wasn't comfortable voting for him. As I pointed out to Sarah, I have a history of not voting anyone off unless I have a good idea they are mafia. I've done it one time in like 5/6 games. This really isn't suspicious of me at all. I'll give you that I have set on my vote for LLL, when I was mafia but we were trying to make bacon look suspicious in that game.
Hear what? You two voted together for LLL and now Scrog is psychic to your thoughts? Yeah, this doesn't tie yall two together one bit does it SFA?? To me I see another little blunder like what Scrog and Fawn had with their voting, although Fawns response seemed legit at the time in my eyes.
Ohhh, Please. You know good and well what he was referring to......
I've got strong hunch that one of the newbs is Mafia. Plus, I'm gonna try to raise some hell and get everyone talking this round.
SFA>>>Holls
How does it tie us together exactly? What's the blunder? Because I had a feeling that a new player was mafia and voted accordingly? And Scrog felt the same way? I believe you were the first one to bring up a new player possible being mafia and it's really convenient that you have really changed your tone towards Fawn, now that you need her vote.
As to the two of us voting for LLL. No, I've learned my lesson on that. I'd never advise my fellow mafia to try to put LLL in a runoff in the first round. Unless she had done something to make herself look suspicious. Without reason, nah. Not going to happen in the first round.
Well poop, I forgot to come by and vote for round 2, and now im the last person to vote.
We waited forever on the first nights kill, you are late to the party once again, tag up with SFA on Holls.
Then for some reason I proposed that Holls and I switch votes. For what reason would I do this exactly? In fact, why didn't I return my reciprocal vote for LLL. That would be the safest option. Not later proposing a vote swap that could end up with one of my mafia buddies being put in. Holls did end up picking Scrog. I wonder why? Because he was making himself look suspicious and you had already made moves against him, to set him up as so. That's the more likely scenario, over Scrog and I both suggesting votes switches that wouldn't serve the needs of mafia members what so ever.
You KNOW this is true. Two mafia members wouldn't both be calling for vote switches for absolutely no reasons that serve any of their goals. It's beyond risky. It doesn't even make any sense for Mafia to do this. Unless their strategy is to act like retards and hope it pays off in the end.
I like it Jham. I am going to "mix things up", I got a hunch, let's do this. Scrog>>>EAP
Scrog follows Jhamm
So you are saying that we are connected because Scrog said are names in two of his voting posts? Is that all you got? That's not a very smart move for mafia either. It does give you something to run with for a last ditch effort, so good for you.
My reason, before anyone asks, is because LLL survived a runoff, and didn't get whacked. She may be mafia, or maybe the mafia thought Jack was the inspector.
Why do both in the runoff have to die
They don't. I don't like this line of thinking either. Jham does seem to bring it up a lot.
SFA and Jhamm both vote for Holls, then someone else
Because we wanted to make it easy for everyone to associate us. Wait, this happens all the time in mafia and doesn't really mean anything.
Runoff starts and Jhamm votes with SFA, Then Scrog jumps on with em.
This is so different then you, holls and Sarah voting together. So different. So much more suspicious.
Jhamm and EAP both switch to Scrog, then EAP goes back. What if EAP had Scrogs name, either guessed or given to start, and this was our clue?
Then she wouldn't have voted for Noage along with Scrog. She also wouldn't have switched her vote to save Scrog in the second round. What inspector would do that?
and/or EAP was killed cause of voting close to them. I can very easily see Mafia killing off folks who vote with em, not against em.
EAP and Scrog were at each others' throat most of the second round. Yet, she still voted to save him. Scrog and Jhamm were going after her thinking she was mafia. Scrog was calling her out as mafia and she still voted to save him, after Jham switched to save Sarah. For no reason. That wouldn't serve the mafia's interest at all. Let's switch up and kill off Scrog and then whack the deciding voter that just saved one of our members.
Ohhh crap guys! She just listed 1 of us out in a post about people to look for but 3 other players we could side with her to vote off. Mike posted and said two of us are guilty. Let's kill the one that looks nothing like the possible inspector and keep Mike alive. Brilliant!
Why not? Let's kill someone that is pointing fingers at the people that we need to get voted off. We should surly kill her because we are 100% sure the inspector is dead. Let's do something really freaking dumb once again because that's all we've did the entire second round of the game.
Scrog and SFA both vote Sarah, as did EAP. EAP was a lucky ass guess for them to kill off if EAP was inspector.
If we were mafia we would have killed you. Not her. If you called out Scrog on the first page and then called out me twice in the second round. I wouldn't be responding to you right know. You would be dead.
Round 3 SFA and JHamm are buddy buddy voting together again, imagine that.
Actually, I've brought up several times that he could be mafia because of the votes from the whacked players. I haven't made much of hassle to defend him at all really.
Yeah, imagine it. It's so strange that we are voting together for the second time in the game. That first vote where he switched to kill our supposed mafia buddy really drives the point home. We are such good buddies.
Guess who else is voting together again? Sarah and Holls. As they have done 4 times in this game. Why haven't you ever brought that up? Was is not convenient for you or something? In fact, I don't think the three of you have made a post responding to each other the entire game.
So, looking at this I am calling mafia as SFA, Scrog and Jhamm.
The three dumbest mafia players to ever be on the same team.
Look Fawn! Your name isn't on his list anymore! It's OK! You can save him now.
Jhamm - your move does look like the same crap I pulled last round when I was behind and thought I was gonna be offed. It also reminds me of the time I faked inspector as mafia. Throw Leno and see if it sticks. It is almost baffling to me how that makes you look more innocent.
I don't think it's much worse then you focusing on every little negative thing you can't think of about my posts and not really responding to anything I've said relevant to the game.
Yall have done a decent job of making it look like Sarah, Fawn, Hollie and myself were the most guilty.
No, you guys did that yourselves. Good thing you got Fawn in there with you for some reason. You do need her vote. Pretty sure you have been just has adamant about her guilt as anyone.
Scrog is the only one to really go on a tangent about her being possible mafia. I know Jhamm and myself were saying we thought she was innocent most of the game. Jhamm did change has changed his tune a little. it's hilarious that you put her in there with your camp.
Maybe she'll fall for it or maybe she's mafia and Sarah or Holls isn't. I know you are. So hmmmmmmm.
Sorry for the time out. Quacker and I found out late yesterday that one of our beloved feline 'children' has feline lymphoma. It wasn't a good night. Now after some sleep - back to Mafia.
This game sure can get ugly towards the end.
Jhamm - even if you had Mike's permission, posting that PM was wrong.
SFA - if you are mafia with LLL, I'm going to biatch slap you into October for using personal knowledge which players would accept because we know you have personal knowledge.
In the last game NBF commented about how you can mentally go round and round at this point. I see what she meant now. Dont want to make the wrong move and lose the game to the mafia by voting out a townie. That said it time's to fish or cut bait.
To Mike D, Holls, and Sarah: Anyways, to get right to the point, my post wasn't meant to upset anybody. If that post did bother any of you, I am sorry, honestly.
Why are you apologizing to me? I wasn't mentioned in the message; I wasn't a recipient of the message; therefore, I took no offense.
Sharing the message, however, was an egregious lapse in judgment on your part. I believe the contents of PRIVATE MESSAGES should not be shared publicly unless all parties (sender and recipients) mutually consent.

Vote Tally: Mike D - 4 jhammett - 2 SFA - 1
Votes So Far: SFA >>> Fawnmart >>> null >>> Mike D Holls >>> jhammett >>> SFA >>> jhammett Fawnmart >>> SFA >>> jhammett >>> null >>> Mike D Popsicle Sarah >>> SFA >>> jhammett jhammett >>> Fawnmart >>> Mike D LLL >>> jhammett >>> null >>> Mike D Mike D >>> SFA

OK, so now your saying if LLL in innocent, good consistency in your story. WHo said she was a dumbass? We all have my PM now so we know it wasn't me. Way to keep on topic
If noage was inspector he surly would have told us so. He had around 20 hours before his fate was sealed by Jack's vote. Yeah, I don't think Scrog was inspector. In fact, he said he wasn't not long before he died. I agree with you 100% there. Thats a first

Or maybe you are trying to get a new player to feel sympathy with this and side with you? Its also interesting you have done the same and you can now pile on Jhamms PM deal and LLL's reasonings, some about the game, some about parties.
I'll give you that I have set on my vote for LLL, when I was mafia but we were trying to make bacon look suspicious in that game. fair enough, makes me feel like Bacon
Ohhh, Please. You know good and well what he was referring to...... No I don't, enlighten me oh god of BS
How does it tie us together exactly? What's the blunder? Because I had a feeling that a new player was mafia and voted accordingly? And Scrog felt the same way? In the big picture it ties yall together and why does it have to be a blunder? Mafia or not, you have done the same thing with Jhamm, it's pretty convenient for you to have him off your list too. Regarding LLL I guess we can take your sarcastic, condescending word on it. Although there are prolly some other discussions on facebook or otherwise we wont see. Considering your history with the game here I am sure it's good.
Then for some reason I proposed that Holls and I switch votes. For what reason would I do this exactly? In fact, why didn't I return my reciprocal vote for LLL. That would be the safest option. I never said you play safe dude. Once again you bring up other shit besides what I am talking about. Beat around the bush often?
So you are saying that we are connected because Scrog said are names in two of his voting posts? Is that all you got? That's not a very smart move for mafia either. It does give you something to run with for a last ditch effort, so good for you. No, if you read what I said and get the porcupine fuckstick outta your ass you would see what I am getting at. But keep it up, you got the votes in your favor. Add it to the big picture and it makes sense.
They don't. I don't like this line of thinking either. Jham does seem to bring it up a lot. Can't all of your responses be this simple and clear?
Because we wanted to make it easy for everyone to associate us. Wait, this happens all the time in mafia and doesn't really mean anything. It means nothing by itself, sure. Add it into everything else and what do you see? (I see another comment that doesn't relate coming from your general direction)
This is so different then you, holls and Sarah voting together. So different. So much more suspicious. I think so yes. Apparently my having folks over make the fact that Hollie isn't blocked is more relevant.
Then she wouldn't have voted for Noage along with Scrog. She also wouldn't have switched her vote to save Scrog in the second round. What inspector would do that? Why the hell not. If EAP only had one name of mafia and one of a townie wouldn't the inspector try to stay on the good side of the known mafia? let's use some logic here SFA
Let's do something really freaking dumb once again because that's all we've did the entire second round of the game. Alright, your theory against mine. Not saying yours doesn't make sense, but once again you look at this as one piece, I am looking at the whole deal.
If we were mafia we would have killed you. Not her. If you called out Scrog on the first page and then called out me twice in the second round. I wouldn't be responding to you right know. You would be dead And if I was mafia why the hell would I be keeping you around (pointless remarks and sarcasm aside)
Actually, I've brought up several times that he could be mafia because of the votes from the whacked players. I haven't made much of hassle to defend him at all really.Yeah, imagine it. Yet you still don't vote for him?? I haven't had a need to respond to Sarah or Holls cause they haven't called me out on shit. My response is the same as yours, I have them voting with me so why bother?
The three dumbest mafia players to ever be on the same team.
Look Fawn! Your name isn't on his list anymore! It's OK! You can save him now. I don't think Scrog is dumb
Look Jhamm! Your name isn't on SFA's list anymore! It's OK!! You can vote with him again!!
I don't think it's much worse then you focusing on every little negative thing you can't think of about my posts and not really responding to anything I've said relevant to the game.
It's better than having players focusing on making you look dumb in your posts instead of discussing the issues. But now I do what you ask and you still keep it up.
I was by no means the only one to put Fawn in there. Yes I called her out in round 1 which is playing right into your hands right now. I wasn't on the boat with those who were wanting the newest players to look like mafia.
On another note, you have argued that it is very slim to none chances of 2 players being mafia 2 games in a row. Look at Sarah and I. I have been mafia all but 2 games, including the last one. Last game Sarah played, 2 games ago I believe. So it can't be Scrog and Jhamm, but it can be me and Sarah??
Sorry for the time out. Quacker and I found out late yesterday that one of our beloved feline 'children' has feline lymphoma. It wasn't a good night. Now after some sleep - back to Mafia.
Ohhh, Im' sorry fawn.
This game sure can get ugly towards the end.
Yeah, it can.
SFA - if you are mafia with LLL, I'm going to biatch slap you into October for using personal knowledge which players would accept because we know you have personal knowledge.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't brought up any personal knowledge except that LLL work a buttton. But that's not really telling, judging from a few games back. I gave several other reason why I think she is innocent.
I responded and acknowledged that some of the players are gadget junkies. Because I know that first hand and my name with brought about knowing it. Which stands to reason that I know them being at a party doesn't really mean anything. And I'm pretty sure I'm the first one to say that the inspector was likely the hold up.
Everything else has been about what has happened within the game. I was calling out this group of players long before any of this drama.
Then you have the odds of two players being Mafia together two games in a row. Sure, it's not impossible but it's not very likely. Have you ever seen it happen? No? Neither have I. Granted, the same folks don't play every game.
Look at what I actually said. I asked if you had ever seen it happen? You could have brought this up. I never calmed to have full knowledge on the subject. I just said that I find it highly unlikely.
I love how it's OK for you to get all whiny and talk about how players are rude to you but it's perfectly OK for you to repeatedly call my post BS and to clam you can't understand anything I say.
I'll get to your long one when I get back from work. If I feel like it. It's not like you've made much effort to respond to anyone until your butt was on the line.
And you implying that I'm somehow cheating pisses me the hell off and I expect an apology when the game is over and it's revealed that you are in fact mafia and I had nothing to do with Jhamm posting that or anything else that breaks the rules.

Unless someone objects, I'm going to close voting in an hour. If you prefer, you can PM any objections to me rather than posting them in the game thread.

I knew about the party because the dude I fuck was invited, and said "Mike D is having a party and I was invited, Holls is going, I might go" And since we all seem to feel that sharing when we are at work, All Good or other Festivals, family emergencies etc is relevant and appropriate (usually to save our own assess when someone points out that we were "quiet" or to detour any accusations of such....). HOW IN THE HELL COULD ME MENTIONING THE PARTY BE A TRANSGRESSION IN THE GAME OF MAFIA?
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

If you think that is the case, then NO ONE is ever allowed to mention ANYTHING about their personal time, lives, situations etc ever again in the game of Mafia.
But nice try Mike. The sandier your vagina gets in Mafia games, the more you look like Mafia. Happened last game, happening this game.

SFA, in a previous game it was stated that there was facebook discussion about a game. My comment was not directed at you, but in general. So if you thought that was me implying you are cheating, that was not my intention and I do apologize.
As for the rude part, when I keep getting it, it's awfully hard not to want to dish it back out. Sucks doesn't it?
Since no one else feels like chiming in on my post and SFA has you wrapped around his finger this game

OK, thanks. I know what you are referring to now.

Doesn't really bother me. I think it's funny.

I really don't have anyone wrapped around my finger. I haven't even posted much since the run-off started.
I working on your longer post. It's a little jumbled because of the way I was quoted. Not your fault. Just letting you know.
I'm the cool one, right?
Ohh, I didn't forget your MMJ statement. I'd love to but I can't make it.

Also, although I'm pretty sure it was obvious, since I try to use smileys and have even gone as far as personally texting a member to let them know I am joshing them, but I'm kidding. Although I honestly can't tell who is kidding anymore in this game, who is playing a "role" and who is just being an jerkstore. so I'm pretty unclear if I should be offended by someone offending my integrity as a person..........ie implications of cheating etc

So, umm... how exactly does one treat a sandy vag?
The better question is: Is this game evergonnaend?!? I feel like the kid in the back seat asking "Are we there yet?" Fo realz, y'all, I've had root canals that were more enjoyable. Oy vey!

You're right though Holls. this game has become completely horrid because of the tone that was taken a few pages back. I'm pretty ready for it to be over too. I don't really care who wins at this point because it is getting to the point that I can't tell who is playing a game and who is being a dick because nobody every reminds anyone that they are just riding the other person's ass like locker room talk or something. So I start assuming people are just being poopieheads when they don't make that point.

I'm out too. Unless the tone of this game changes, I don't want to play anymore. If this was the intention of Mafia, to try to make the game as uncomfortable as possible for everyone, great job, you guys won.
