just came up in my mind at work today because some people have been getting lax and wearing sneakers, and our firm administrator had to kindly remind everybody we can't wear sneakers. i'm in the wear sneakers or wear dress shoes camp, but i understand it's hard to make a policy around type of sneakers in an office setting, because as you note there is a big difference between neon hokas and a simple white court sneaker.
neon hokas can be cool don't get me wrong, just doesn't look right with chinos and an OCDB.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
