basically the ringer universe of podcasts. yeah i'm interested in the TV and movies they talk about, and i genuinely appreciate the criticism they provide, but i'm also just diehard CR Head and Dob Mob and enjoy hearing about the various hosts and their friendships more than anything. zero of my friends listen to any ringer shit so i have to me a member of various subreddits and even facebook groups to engage with fellow fans.

I think the initial arc is the best story I've ever consumed and I only have 1 friend who has listened all the way thru.
And then "Oh No! Ross and Carrie" which is two ex Christians that engage first hand with fringe science and spirituality. They joined scientology for months, which is one of the best series of episodes

yeah never heard of any of that.
one of my closest friends, who whom i share many tv, movies, and musical interests, listens to some podcast called "uh yeah dude" and loves it and even drove multiple hours to see them live. i tried to listen to one episode and it's just these two people talking. i think the podcast market is the most niche market.
i guess it's cool that some people can do a radio show, find maybe tens of thousands of fans, and then that's their job forever. it also kind of makes me happy how a couple years ago every celebrity tried to start a podcast and almost all of them failed.

Thank you for this. I noticed it the last two days and forgot to bring it up on the private forums.
I work a night shift at the bar (which I have never done except when I was hired and trained) and I am very nervous. It's a Monday so I think it will be dead and I won't make money and I will have to be there until 1am. I am stressing out.

Last time I was visiting home, my brother called to say that he had gone with his not-girlfriend to pick up her dad, who was hanging out with some friends at a bar. He said we could come down there for dinner if we didn’t mind being around a bunch of drunk 50-year-olds. Which was weird because then I realized that my brother’s not-girlfriend’s dad was just a few years older than me, at which point he said her dad is actually like 48, which makes him the same age as our other brother. Which then led us to the realization that our mom could easily be his not-girlfriend’s grandmother, as she is actually only a couple years older than the other brother’s daughter/mom’s granddaughter.
