my alarm is set for 6:10 so i can press snooze four times and get up at 6:30, i just love the feeling of falling back asleep, and yes i can do it in like a minute, if not less sometimes
maybe if I put a self-timed coffee pot underneath my alarm and have that start & be brewed by the time my alarm goes off..... no. I would probably half-consciously knock over the coffee and spill it everywhere and make me more crabby.

Why do people post things on FB if they don't want anyone with a different opinion to comment? I got told today "I hope you find Christ before it's too late".

Geez, that would infuriate me. Does this person even realize how condescending and judgmental that comment is?

omg this! and if you have a different view they say "you can't come on MY page and argue" bitch, you posted it on a public forum....
I've tried all of these methods and none of them have worked for me.
I used to set my clock alarm across my room and would still wake up a half hour later wondering "wtf. why didn't my other alarm go off??" when, in reality, I had walked up to it, turned it off, and gotten back in bed. I'm awful at mornings.
I still do that from time to time. I think willpower and the fear of becoming unemployed are the only things that really help. Having to wake up in the morning is the worst possible way to start the day.
My daughter used to wake up consistently between 5:30-6:00 everyday, and it totally trained me. I haven't used an alarm in about a year and I wake up within the same 10 minutes of 6:00 everyday.
as far as alarms go, you are better off just getting out of bed if you wake up before the alarm. it usually means you just finished a sleep cycle. trying to snooze for a few more minutes can actually be detrimental to your wakefulness throughout the day because you won't get back into that deep sleep, and so when the snooze alarm goes off, you will be in the beginning or middle stages of sleep, which can give you that groggy/sleepy feeling when you wake.
That's really cool. What did she have to do to win? Or was it just like a random drawing?
She just told me that she gets to go to the after party and get $300 spending money and something about getting to walk on the red carpet. She's pretty excited!
And rightfully so. That's going to be a once in a lifetime experience. That's so awesome!

And, the local tv news show wants her to come on & tell them all about it.
Every time I do one of those "What US City Should You Live In?" quizzes I always get one of four options: Seattle, Portland, Austin...or NYC.
And I'm from Chicago?
After reading this I took five different where should I live quizzes, my results were Portland, Seattle, Austin, NYC, and Vienna. I'm glad none of them told me I should stay in Florida
