A lot of message boards have reputations for being unruly "no holds barred" "anything goes" places where people are free to be as rude as they please. Such as 4chan and even reddit to an extent. We do our best to keep this place not like that. I think most people here appreciate that.

Just to clarify, was emoney permanently or temporarily banned? If either, why for? I just don't want to see it get blown up with rumors and speculation.

at least everyone that is rude is treated fairly and equally in their punishments. much like lady justice, the mods always blindfold their personal feelings about the offender and equally apply the law of the board to everyone.
I would have to respectfully disagree with that, especially because if that were true, then Juggs would have been banned ages ago. Juggs is 10x more overtly antagonistic with people than emoney ever was.
Emoney was sarcastic and a bit snarky, but no more than many people on here, myself included, who are allowed to continue posting. It just, to me, seems like some moderators apply certain rules to certain people and not to others. Most of the time, I would say mods agree with Juggs' sentiments even if they are spelled out in a hilariously disrespectful way most of the time, so they let it go, but emoney often is sarcastic and disrespectful AGAINST the majority opinion of the mods, and I think it's unfair to ban him based on that.
But hey, I guess its your guys' forum to mod, not mine, so do what you like.

Yeah, I agree. I think people didn't like the fact he pointed out a like of hypocritical posts/behavior. I dunno, I think he wasn't any more sarcastic than a lot of posters here. Was his Skrillex photo of the day thing really that bad?
doubt it had anything to do with the skrillex photos. as far as i could see he had even stopped doing that. i think his initial 15% warning was from a fued he and jess had a week or so ago.
A troll, is a troll, is a troll. He'll be back under a million different monikers, waiting to be banned again, because that's what folks like him do - they spend countless hours trying to access their little stage to gripe, moan, and provoke. Sorry this twisted so many sets of panties.

and jess has no warning level despite doing the same sorts of stuff. hmmm

two people got warnings out of that fued i remember. if jess didnt get a warning level, then that wasnt the person he was arguing with. but i remember both getting it.

Internet message board, moderated by unpaid people who do their best to not let everything completely slip to sh*t - not the SCOTUS. I can understand your confusion, though.

Hey Justice Breyer, can you help me and sang settle a debate? What was the reason the "real reason" emoney got banned? Sang thinks it was emoney's sig.

So why, exactly did he get banned? Because unless I'm missing something you guys are really skirting around what happened and how long he's banned for.

He's banned for being consistently reported by many other board members and showing absolutely no interest in pulling it together. There's nothing more to it. And I'm not sure when bans became temporary. He's back already under a different name, as I'm sure you know. That's what trolls do, NoD.
