I was so excited to see them last year at Bonnaroo, but their live show isn't anything exciting...just them playing exactly what you hear on their CD. It was cool to sing a couple songs along with the crowd, but after 30 minutes, we left because it was just (sad to actually say this) boring.
My thoughts exactly. I'll be really disappointed if they get a spot this year. But like someone mentioned earlier, MMJ is headlining so no way I'm missing it. They always bring it, especially when they play here in their home town.

Was being reported in January on the radio that they were playing here. But you are correct, I don't see anything being reported now. Maybe they canceled the shows so that they could play at the Castle. Sorry for the confusion.
I can confirm that Nerves Junior will be playing at Forecastle. I do not know how to take a screenshot, but If you go like their facebook you will see it. They said they will be releasing dates soon. I said I was crossing my fingers for an 18+ show because I'm 20 and their last few shows were 21+. They replied that I should cross my fingers for Forecastle.

Ug, I dont really care for the non-camping festivals. i have done a couple and they tend to be more expensive. I like to set up camp on Thursday and go NO WHERE for four days!
Whats the camping situation like at the KOA Metro Louisville? Is it close enough to walk or ride a bike to the festival? Or is there a shuttle? I also read in years past there was camping at a place called American Turners?

American Turners is decent and pretty close to Waterfront Park. They have a pool and bar. Used to have school bus shuttles. Not sure why they went away being the official camp site for Forecastle. Could have something to do with the undercover busts there the past few years.
