So, I'm totally underwhelmed here. But let me explain- I was expecting some stuff like M. Ward, Band of Horses, Bright Eyes, Monsters of Folk, New Multitudes, Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder, Jack White. I know these artists are probably good so I need your help, roosters. Help me discover these artists and get excited that I already bought this ticket again!
Check out The Features for reals. They are one of my favorite bands ever. Oh, and Justin Townes Earle is amazing.

Anybody interested in any Tier 2 level tix? We're selling our's. We've got 136/ticket in them. We've got 3 total, but I think my brother still might go. So he might end up selling them to whomever he goes with. If someone is interested, I can let you know when I find out.

Love the lineup! I saw somewhere on the website that they were planning on having 75+ acts, right now we are at 51 so it looks like we have at least 24 more acts to be added.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Outside of the awesome 1-2 punch of Wilco and MMJ, this lineup doesn't do too much for me. There's bands I'd be semi-excited to see on there, but none I'd be thrilled to see other than Jacket and Wilco (and FlyLo, but I'm seeing him at Roo). For $100 it's a good deal, though.

THIS. I am a bit in love with JTE right now.
JEFF the Brotherhood is on the Third Man label; perhaps you'll see more Third man artists added?

JEFF has put out some stuff through Third Man, but they aren't really on the label. All of their major releases like albums and whatnot come out on Infinity Cat.

This is a cool lineup, especially considering the price. It should sell well and establish Forecastle as one of the better second tier festivals going forward. I would definitely opt for this over Pitchfork if I was free that weekend. Give the dissenters a break, though....this isn't lineup of the year or anything.
Definitely check out The Features, JEFF the Brotherhood, Wax Fang, and Floating Action if you haven't heard any of them before.

Wow I'm blown away. I know some other people are disappointed by a lack of big names, but its unrealistic to expect huge names given how cheap the tickets are. I mean tier 1 tickets were $100 for 3 days!
We are probably only doing Saturday, which is around $50 a person. Hell I paid close to that just to see MMJ this summer.

A little surprised that Bassnectar is a headliner, but it beats the No Doubt rumor.
The lineup for me is solid and the best part of it is that I really see it growing on me. I don't know about 30 of the acts and from the things said on here by people I respect has me giddy in anticipation.
On a side note, Roll Call is the best fan club I've ever been a part of. They really do a great job.

Just curious, how much does this bundle cost?
For some reason it didn't say. Probably around $50 if I had to guess.
Neko Case This year's Forecastle Festival lineup is totally crazy awesome. Neko is playing on Sunday, July 15 (followed by Wilco), but go for the whole weekend.
Just noticed that on Neko's FB page. So I guess at least part of the schedule is figured out?
FyLo, Atlas Sound, MMJ, Andrew Bird, Stax, Beach House, Preservation Hall, Washed Out, Beats Antique, Daedelus... this is awesome!!! I really hope I'm able to see all the night shows or I'll be sincerely disappointed.
To be honest, I am a little underwhelmed too. For the price, I just can't justify going all 3 days. However, I may drive up into indiana friday, catch MMJ on saturday, and come home sunday/monday. Ill have to think about it. Plus, I get to see MMJ at Beale Street Music Fest in May.

Good solid line-up. We're doing VIP on Saturday and GA on Sunday! Hate to miss Friday but beside Head and the Heart, not too crazy about Friday. Just move H&theH to Sunday for me! LOL.
Am I missing something great on Friday? Not big into Bassnectar, Flylo, ect. Atmosphere is good tho too...hmmm, don't know what to do! Argh
