So who do you think will potentially get the late nights?
Well obviously a lot of the EDM but hopefully any of MMJ + Pres Hall, Dr Dog, Deer Tick, Charles Bradley, or Jim + Ben + Daniel
Wait they pull the late night artists from this line-up? I could potentially have to pay more to see Deer Tick? Just to be clear I'm talking about the shows off site in the riverboat/clubs.
The bands that do the latenights also have normal sets. If its Deer Tick they would have a normal day time set and then an extended latenight set probably paired with another band or two. At least I believe thats how it works

I'm wondering the same thing: Are some of these bands listed going to be late night shows that cost extra to see? It says on the website late night shows to be added later so I don't think so...
"Details for the separately ticketed, late-night after parties, set to take place at venues including the historical Belle of Louisville steamboat, as well as additional artists, art installations, environmental and sustainability activities, outdoor extreme sports park, festival partners, culinary options and other activities will be announced in the coming weeks."
I like how they said venues - it means they'll be other late night shows taking place downtown besides on the tiny ass steamboat. Don't get me wrong - partying on the boat was awesome, but it was super hot and tix sold out quick due to the small capacity. Also, they only band that they pulled from the lineup that had a late night gig was EOTO and they had a normal set during the evening, then a late night set on the boat.
It's funny on the Forecastle's page share the comments are about 75% negative and on the MMJ's page they are about 90% positive. If you can't find at the very very least 10 bands on here you would love to see you probably need to like more music.

I agree. I was a little let down by the line-up probably because I set myself up. Was really hoping for Jack White or The Roots.

Nerves Junior, Cabin, and Wax Fang!?! I knew MMJ would bring out Louisville's best. I'm so happy with this. Wax Fang and Cabin are two of my favorite bands of all time. I think you all will really,really enjoy Wax Fang. Their album La La Land has been on repeat for years in my car.

I don't post here too much, but have been to Roo 07, 08, 10, & 11, decided to pass up Bonnaroo this year to go to Forecastle. Will be staying at the Galt House!

Passed up Bonnaroo this year too and was hoping and praying that Forecastle would be amazing! They definitely delivered! We're staying at the Galt House too - maybe we should have an Inforoo get together there since a lot of ppl from here are staying there?!
