Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Pretty sure they promised 75+ acts. We now have 52. Should be getting a couple sizable rounds of additions. Hoping for some of the better small Pitchfork acts.
I love Band of Horses and haven't had a chance to see them yet. I know they toured MMJ last year (I think) so I'd be beyond excited if they were added. However, I know adding a big band like them at this point is unusual. Guess it's more just wishful thinking than anything else. We are WAY overdue for some adds!
I think Delta Spirit would be a good fit. Right now, their latest dates are Bonnaroo and High Sierra fest the weekend before Forecastle. Maybe they wanted to wait until they played a few shows in the area (including the Nashville show I'm attending tonight) before announcing their appearance at this one. On the other hand, it would makes sense they would end up in CA before taking a break.
Just booked my room at the Courtyard, anyone else staying there, I don't really feel like reading 30+ pages to fing out on my own. I may have an extra bed if someone is interest.
I know it's still 3 months away but I'm surprised we haven't gotten any more adds. I scoured Forecastle's Facebook page and ppl are really starting to bug them about more additions, and all they keep saying is "patience is a virtue" and "be patient - we'll have more adds soon." This is BS. I'd rather them say "we don't have any adds scheduled to be announced for 2 more months." At least that way we'd know SOMETHING!

DCBee & my friend just bought a ticket so there's four in our party driving down from DC. Now is the time for some lineup additions, her ticket purchase got me all hyped up for July again! ;D

Where our godddamn adds?? The whole MMJ curating thing probably set my sights way too high but I surely thought we'd have more "friends of MMJ" by now. Thinking we may have to wait until all Roo announcements are unveiled before they focus on Forecastle. Zero hype can't be good.
I think the next announcement of multiple bands will be in May, once the applications to play are closed and those smaller bands are decided. I KNOW that band of horses have future plans with MMJ so im sure they'll be added. Plus they were heavily rumored.
At the MSG MMJ show last December when BOH opened up they came on stage for some collab, so that'd be neat.
I was really hoping for some Roots, and I'm really hoping Tweedy and Jim end up on a stage together at some point. Maybe MMJ and Tweedy can do a Levon tribute and cover it makes no difference
The last songs of the night... Band Of Horses, MMJ, and Brian Jackson (flutist who played with Gil Scott Heron) played The Bottle (by brian Jackson and GSH) and I'll Be Home for Christmas
Well, IBHFC was the last song of the night. The Bottle was earlier on.
So, I am not going to be able to make Forecastle this year. I purchased an early bird ticket for 115 bucks, if u guys could be so kind as to steer anyone in need of a ticket my way, i would really appreciate it. Face value, pm me. thanks guys
^Seriously. This is getting a little ridiculous. Unlike other ppl, I don't have 2 or 3 other festivals I'm going to this year to keep me interested. Not to mention my ultimate favorite band isn't touring this year. Besides a couple of bands here and there, Forecastle's all I got.
