Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
^ Don't sweat the $25 if it means you can join us! It will be soooo worth it! You can justify the shipping fees by drinking in your hotel before you go in, thereby saving yourself $25 in beer costs once you're inside!
Yes, it's true: a woman can justify ANYTHING. Especially where alcohol & live music are involved. ;D
I don't have a hotel yet either! I wasn't sure if I'd be able to swing Forecastle or not since I'm saving up for my daughter's next round of orthodontia AND a trombone for her first year of band, but after reviewing finances I decided to go for it. I knew earlier in the week that I could go, but am just getting around to getting my ticket, etc. I hope I can find a room fairly cheap this late in the game. If not it's only ~75 minute drive from downtown Louisville to my house.
YES!! I'm so tired of the Run Thru tease. That is a kickass song that needs to be heard in it's entirety!
Oh yeah............
2 WEEKS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
Hey! Didn't know you were going to forecastle. If you want to bring your new hoop, I'll be bringing mine, and I'll teach you a few things.
Sweet! I'll definitely bring it! I'm not sure if I'll be up for carrying it around all day, but we're staying at the Galt House so I can always go run it back to the room real quick if I get tired of it!
I looked at the 10 day forecast for L, its not looking pretty. Hot, muggy, sucky for my cold loving northern blood. I just hope it gets better for two weekends from now.

Shonda=blacklilly. In other words, I'm won't hustle you out of anything.
As for the weather, I'd plan on it being in it's low 90's and slightly muggy. I hope like hell we're not still dealing with a heat wave by then!
Trying to decide between Charles Bradley and Deer Tick on Sunday. What do you guys think?
I went to Bonnaroo really wanting to see Darondo. When he cancelled, I was super bummed, but I started my trek back to camp and detoured to the What stage, at which point I said, "This is the first act of the day and it's Charles Bradley, I should check him out." I decided to get in the line for the pit. Hands down, one of the top five shows for me for the weekend. So sad I am only going to be at Forecastle on Saturday, I would 100% go see CB again. LOVE is the only way to describe it.
Damnit!!! I waited until today to buy my Saturday ticket and now the only 2 shipping options are overnight for $40 or 2nd day for $25. I'm currently checking out the Louisville Craigslist to see what I can find.
I am sure there is a "will call" option or print at home, is there not?
I'll be at the Downtown Marriott with a couple of friends on Saturday. I waited too long to take advantage of the Forecastle discounted rates. Fortunately, there is a Whitecastle within walking distance between the festival and the hotel.
The weather here has been absolutely brutal for several days now (105+ heat index) and there is absolutely no break in sight. I'm expecting a very hot weekend. But being on the river should bring a good breeze, hopefully.
you can add me to the list LD. passing up on Refused but atleast there is the possibility of a full Run Thru.
just have a saturday pass currently but looking through louisville clist for a sunday pass
Well, I don't feel so bad about passing up the Refused show as well. Leaving Louisville at 8am to drive all day just didn't appeal to me for some reason. Speaking of which, anybody want to buy my Refused ticket?
Hey guys Im going solo - scored a ticket for work on the ACE fancorps - and figured it would be cool to have some folks to hang out with before or after the shows. Ive never really done the inforoo thing except I stopped by the broo brunch for a few minutes in 2008 but I do have about 20 really big Forecastle posters that Im trying to give away ... so yeah Im willing to hangout

There wasn't yesterday when I tried to purchase, but when I checked back today there was a print at home option available. I don't know why unless they were in the process of removing the regular shipping options or something. I now have my Saturday ticket and a place to sleep. I'm officially going!

I'll be working for the LIBA (Keep Louisville Weird) folks on Friday and !!! THE BEST GIG EVA!!! driving artists to and from the radio station on Sunday!!! Stop by the LIBA booth and say hi on Friday. I might have some awesome stickers
