EDIT: Accuweather, not that I trust them and esp 10-13 days out, says about 90 and muggy (aka normal for the area) every day of Forecastle weekend. Certainly better than 100 and suffering. Looks like the brutality ends early next week.

We're excited to see everyone next week in the band's hometown of Louisville KY! Below is a list of all the details for next weekend. We know that a lot of questions have been asked and hopefully everything below covers it all. In the event you have further questions or concerns, please visit support.groundctrl.com with your inquiry for additional information and they will make sure you are all set.
General Info and Entrance info:
As a Roll Caller, you can skip the main line and walk in through the festival's VIP entrance by flashing your Roll Call membership card or laminate. The card and laminate both allow entry for you plus one guest. The VIP entrance will be a designated line/chute next to the general Entrance, as there is one main point of entry for all attendees. In the event you have misplaced your card or have yet to receive your laminate, please contact RollCallLam@gmail.com and they will make further arrangements to see that you are sorted. The festival re-entry rules are: 1. Single Day Ticket: There is No Re-Entry allowed 2. Weekend Passholders will be allowed to re-enter 3. VIP Single Day or VIP Weekend Pass: Re-Entry will be allowed 4. Single Day Ticket + MMJ Soundcheck Bundle Package: You will be allowed to stay within the site after the Soundcheck party OR scan out and Re-enter once (there is no Additional Re-Entry)
Soundcheck party and pit access bundle: (note: only applicable to those who purchased the bundle)
Soundcheck party time: Thank you for being part of our biggest soundcheck party to date. Because of this we're encouraging everyone to arrive early. Please plan to arrive and check in on Saturday AM between 11:15 and 11:45. The soundcheck party may happen as early as 12noon or as late as 12:30pm Soundcheck party location: Representatives will be present and have a master list to check you in at the main Festival entrance. Soundcheck process including ticket scan and wristband distribution: Once you check in, you will receive a wristband which will allow you access to both the soundcheck party as well as Pit Access during the MMJ performance later that day. Your ticket will be scanned at this time for entry onto the site and the crowd will be escorted to the Main Stage for the Soundcheck Party. After the Soundcheck Party, you may remain on the site or be Scanned out with your ticket for Re-Entry once doors open (2:30pm). Pit access time: Saturday, 9:15pm Pit access location: In Front of stage HOUSE LEFT (your left when facing the stage). Pit access process: Please line up near PIT Entrance and allow Andrew Bird's fans to EXIT the pit, after his set (his set ends at 9:00pm). Once Pit is cleared, you will be allowed in by security by showing your soundcheck/pit wristband Poster pick up locations: You may pick up your MMJ Forecastle poster, anytime after doors open on Saturday. Posters will be available for pick up at the Main Festival Merch Booth. Please let the merch person know that you are PICKING UP your "Signed MMJ, Sound check Party OR Roll Call Poster." A name and ID will be required for pick up. If you would like to change pick up names on the list for multiple bundles you have purchased, please specify by visiting support.groundctrl.com with the details of your request.

So I wonder if the whole left pit will be Roll Call/ sound check members. I don't see how else they would keep everyone else out of line to ensure that all the roll call people got into the pit.
So I just got done looking at the map for the festival and I am very skeptical of the situation with the smaller tents, mainly the Ocean, Port, and Starboard stages being way too close to each other. Waterfront park is huge and for them to only utilize the main lawn area is pretty ridiculous. If any one remembers 2010 the Ocean stage was in the bowl to the east of the main lawn, which was by far my favorite stage. The Boom stage is where Halfway to Forecastle was held and was kind of a downer because its all concrete (if I remember correctly). I'm sure it will turn out fine, but logistically I think it could have been set up a little better. T minus 7 days bitches!!!
