Ugh just realized this is going to be the same weekend as Rammstein in Ft lauderdale, and I've always wanted to see them since like 9th grade. I wish I could know the wanee lineup this week so I could make a better informed decision!

I've decided I'm going to wait to see the Wanee lineup before buying Rammstein tickets. I don't want to set myself up for disappointment- I hate decisions

Here let me help you with that decision, Ba-Bam! you are coming to Wanee. there settled. ;D
LOOK OUT: Short-cut camp was a huge hit and Bear Creek and it will be back for Wanee and it will be bigger and better with more lazers and more lights and more surprises!
This guy does visual effect projection. Which means about as much as Chinese to a Spanish speaking dog, but looks very cool. Would like to see his stuff at Roo. In that process of looking for video of what he does, I found this gem from Wanee 2011.
1:08 and 1:15 shows the projections in the trees 1:28 shows the projection on the crowd. 2:00 shows both and gives thea good idea of what he does. 4:58 and 5:18 are a good example of the things this can do, the oak trees are the screen for this.
Wanee>Rammstein. You don't really want to miss the intensity of multiple days at the Suwannee for one industrial concert. Don't get me wrong, I was all about them back in the '90s and would love to see them now for their stage show, but the quality of music/people/everything that comes with that really outweighs any individual concert going on in Florida during that time.
Plus, do you really want to skip seeing the Allman's on 4/20??
Wanee lineup will be probably late January I would think. Leftover Salmon will def be there, they are playing ATL on 4/20 so they will prob play Wanee on Thursday or Friday of the fest.
You can't really compare coachella and Wanee. I've never been to Coachella but if I could only choose one there is no thinking even involved. Wanee is my favorite festival hands down, such a great time, great vibe, great music......everything about it is just perfect. The cops aren't as bad as people act like either, just don't be stupid or sloppy.
I would like to see Black Keys at Wanee, They seemed to get lost on the large What stage at Roo last year and I think they would rock in the smaller venue like SOSMP. They would not HL though, but I think would still put on a great show.
Scrog, imagine seeing Black Keys in the amphitheater late night! Needless to say, that would be insanity!
LOL! ABB, Furthur, MMJ. Which one doesn't fit here? That third spot would be much better served by having String Cheese Incident. Saw them in ATL and they were killing it, they will be everywhere next year.
Arghhhhhhh Black Keys late night?? WTH? You guys are nuts.......Gov't Mule will do a late night, and the other one needs to be way crazier than Black Keys. Seen them like 4 times and have yet to be amazed. They are a cool band and I dig their sound, but Wanee is supposed to steal your face.
Lol at cheese being everywehre next year. I was at Atlanta and Athens and yes they did kill it, but thinking they are going to be every where is setting yourself up for disappointment. Unless you wanted an EOTO day set on the mushroom stage like big G got.
KP, I believe Black Keys on the Mushroom stage would be amazing and I look forward to that, but like Caddy said, Wanee is about Melting your face at late night and Black keys do not melt my face kind of music. Does one of the SCI guys, live or own one of the cabins at SOSMP? I heard that at Blackwater. I will take SCI over the Black Keys at Wanee this year, and I still would love to see MMJ there as well.
