I'd like to run into EOTO again at some point in the near future. Prepared this time... Definitely right about having your face melted off, though, and I'll take anything I can get at SoS. My favorite venue hands down.
Scrog, I may have asked you this already, but what airport would I be looking at flying into? I want to start getting an idea of flight prices, maybe set up a price watch.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Thanks, Lerx! If I go, Scrog offered himself to be personal chauffeur/man-whore extraordinaire, so I need to make sure that is the best for him too. I guess that I could have contacted him directly with this question, but sometimes, I am slow on the uptake

Living up here in Ocala, Miami or MIA is logistically the best for me. Might be a little back tracking, but hoping on the B-line will make that ride go faster. Jacksonville is totally out of the way and the speed traps on US301 in Lawtey and Waldo(yes, there is a Waldo in Florida, which has a flea market.)are awful and world known, even the billboards going into those towns, that are sponsored by AAA, will let you know that. Click here and here, so I am not a fan of driving through those towns. yet, Jacksonville can be the cheapest, so I would go with Jacksonville(JAX). Tampa (TPA) and Orlando(MCO) are about the same distance. Out of those two, I like Tampa better. I think the best Airport in Florida to fly from, is JAX, (although PBI is good, but really out of the way.) MIA sucks, actually I have never been there, but I assume it is big and I do not dig big airports. Lerxst is right, JAX is best.

Whoa isn't MIA way way out of the way from ocala? Isn't ocala right near orlando?
I was being a smart ass. bad sarcasm does not translate well over the net. JAX is the closest and easy airport to travel to and from. The drive from Ocala to Jax is about 90 minutes and there are a few well known speed traps along the way.
well, I am good with 2 nights of ABB and Furthur, with a Gov't Mule set. It should be a good weekend, and the fact that its only 2 hours away makes it a no brainer. However, I probably wont be showing up until thursday afternoon.

The fact that everyone who really appeals to me is lower tier makes me think my money would be better spent on aura or a smaller suwannee fest. But I might do this if I don't go to Roo I'd love to see Conspirator at Suwannee, and also to give Eoto another shot

thank you!
IMO on first glance this is a huge drop off from previous years. Furthur must be more expensive then I would think. Still even with just the ABB/Furthur headliner it will be a great time. I wasn't planning on going this year anyway and the lineup just cements this.
