Eh, around 200 I believe, which is why I'm gonna wait til the Roo line-up drops. Like postjack said, its a considerable drop off from years past and it leads me to believe that either one Furthur fetches a heavy price or two Wanee doesn't have the money to put on a festival as stacked as the past few years.
So if they slap on a price tag comparable to years past, I may not go.

That's reasonable.
I was gonna say, if it were over $200 no way
For my personal taste blackwater and bear creek are more up my alley. I'm not as into the southern rock stuff. This would be a nice fest to hold me over til the fall though. Either that or purple hatters ball, or whatever its called

I of course have huge respect for ABB but I never really listen to them anymore. Bear Creek is definitely more up my alley, and the cold weather festival experience is definitely a plus. though it was WAY cold last year that first night.
I am very sure that Warren will be playing with them, so 3 shows of Warren Haynes is enough for me. Plus 2 Furthur shows? Its worth the price of admission as far as Im concerned. Thats a good weekend for 200$ of camping, music and good vibes.
It may not pack as much heat as years past, but I am totally comfortable with that.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I'm In. Wanee is pretty much an automatic for me. I can't say I'm impressed with the line-up, One or two good adds would help. I wonder who the Thursday headliner is?
I have to assume that Gov't Mule is going to be the Thursday night headliner. That way Warren is free to play with ABB Fri and Sat.
Also, I am kind of excited at the prospect of Mickey sitting in with Furthur for a set or a show.
I do not think that they will run the same 1-2 punch out there for Friday and Saturday nights. IOW I have a very strong feeling that they will be having Furthur play a mid day set. I know the lineup says that they are both playing night, but if they put both Furthur and ABB back to back 2 nights in a row the big stage is going to be PACKED.
I am looking forward to seeing what they will do with the scheduling.
I hear raves about Leftover Salmon and I really want to see Dumpstaphunk so even though it seems weak, (and shorter than other years by a FULL DAY) I think this will be a lot of fun.
Allman Bros Further Gov't Mule • Tedeschi Trucks Band Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band • Buddy Guy Bruce Hornsby • Mickey Hart Band Hot Tuna Electric • Ray Manzarek & Roy Rogers Band Leftover Salmon • North Mississippi Allstars Trigger Hippy (Joan Osborne, Jackie Greene, Steve Gorman, Audley Freed, Nick Govrik) Soja • Conspirator • Eoto Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk • Particle Devon Allman's Honeytribe • Zach Deputy Matt Schofield • Bobby Lee Rodgers Trio Big Sams Funky Nation • Charles Bradley Bonerama • Jacob Jeffries Band The Yeti Trio • Bonnie Blue
Just to compare, here is the 2011 lineup:
The Allman Brothers Band, Widespread Panic, Robert Plant & Band of Joy, Steve Miller Band, Warren Haynes Band, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Ween, Stephen Marley, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Mike Gordon, Hot Tuna, 7 Walkers Feat. Bill Kreutzmann, Galactic, Taj Mahal, North Mississippi Allstars, Keller Williams, John Popper & The Duskray Troubadours, The Radiators, Wanda Jackson, Rusted Root, Oteil Burbidge and The Lee Boys, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Big Gigantic, Melvin Seals & JGB, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, New Deal, Lotus, Tea Leaf Green, DJ Logic, Toubab Krewe, Devon Allman’s Honeytribe, Bobby Lee Rodgers Trio, Soul Rebel’s Brass Band, Guitar Shorty, Dangermuffin, Honey Island Swamp Band, Kevin Hammond, Death on Two Wheels, The Yeti Trio, Jacob Jeffries Band and Griffin Anthony
So are we going to get any adds? I mean I don't think Furthur fetches so much money that Wanee booked almost 15 less bands.
edit
ok, so there seems that there might be a few more additions. This was on the Bonerama website.
Today we’re throwing you a bone about a great festival. We’re very pleased to announce that we’ll be performing at the 8th Annual Wanee Festival in Live Oak, FL! Bonerama will join a fantastic lineup that includes: The Allman Brothers Band, Furthur, Gov’t Mule, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Buddy Guy, Bruce Hornsby, Mickey Hart Band, Hot Tuna, North Mississippi Allstars, Dumpstaphunk, Zach Deputy, Devon Allman’s Honeytribe, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, and many, many more still to be announced.

It's a good lineup, but there's a big difference between headliners and undercard. I feel like we are missing something between Gov't Mule and the rest.

WTF are you talking about? You are the only person I've heard say this wasn't an amazing lineup.

They will have artist additions as well......like nearly every festival out there.
Usually Wanee doesn't have artist additions outside maybe one or two acts. I'm pretty sure last year the initial line-up was the final line-up. I'm just hoping theres more to the line-up than whats there. Though I will say this, I'm glad we have two nights of Furthur than Panic. We'll just wait for more line-up additions.
I have a feeling this is going to become more and more Warren Hayne's festival as time goes on. He is pretty much a staple there, and he has played a lot with the ABB. I bet he sits in with multiple bands including ABB and maybe even Furthur.
What I am looking at is the fact that I only have to take 1 1/2 days off work for this, its a little more than 2 hours from my house and there is a lot to be seen. If I break this down:

and 3 nights of camping (60) and a great venue and great party?
Everything else on the bill is just icing. I was initially turned off, but the more I look at it, the happier I am with it.
Uh, Warren Haynes has been with ABB since the 80s and well before Gov't Mule started.

Didn't want to double post, but I got an email back from the contact lady on the Wanee site and told me that there will be additions soon, so Wanee probably will be in the cards for me this spring. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us soon.
Galactic makes a lot of sense because of their schedule and the fact that they are going to be at NOJF the following weekend.
I doubt they would add a name as big as MMJ, but if they add another big name it would be them IMO. Same deal with scheduling and being on their way to NOJF. Plus I think they would totally fit in there. I would be surprised if the whole year goes by and MMJ has not played at SOSMP
I think moe. would fit nicely into the line up. They don't have any dates in April right now. With a new album out I wouldn't be to surprised to see them on a lot of festival line ups this summer. Galactic would be another good add, as would Robert Randolph.
