Naw PMA I think this year was my last Wakarusa for a while. I am probably going to have to cut it down to just one festival over the summer and that's Bonnaroo all the way.

@ Druid, I wish. I've only been to 7 so far this year. But I'll break last year's record next week at Bear Creek. ;-) @ rdk0r, just volunteer at The Hangout, Waka, and Roo. You can ride with me, then catch a ride home from Manchester... or do the whole 4 month summer tour. I'm looking for an intern. ;-)

I'll buy a Roo ticket but volunteering at Hangout and Waka before sounds like an experience. My final exams for spring are over on may 11th so I may have to take you up on that.
Waka this year wasn't as good as 2010 imo, but I feel like they will have less electronic stuff this year and it will be more like 2010 was. I shall be back on the mountain.

I'd love to do a double Waka / Roo. Waka is a four-hour drive from DFW and the nights in the Ozarks are amazing in the summer. Unfortunately, in my line of work, I can barely get time off to go to Roo as it is.
I did wakaroo last year and while it was a fun two weeks, I would never do a festival back to back again. That said, waka was amazing, but a bit too much jam/dubstep and or hippie for me. I mean that as something personal and nothing offensive.

Looks like they were there in 06, I saw them in the spring and wholly enjoyed the show. They had a small fire on stage caused by on of the bass pedals and played right through it. Exciting stuff

same as kballard. a few of us are looking to do waka then roo. we're thinking about volunteering pre-roo so there would only be one day in between the festivals. (if you volunteer at roo, you're asked to get there on the tuesday before). anyone have any suggestions to that idea?
