It's only going to keep getting better, with this only being a third of the lineup. It's not like this is the top third and the rest will be unknown stuff. There are probably still two headliners to be announced, plus tons of other great acts, if history repeats itself.
What an absolutely vanilla pile of dogsh*t that lineup is. What rinkydink fest gives TWO sets to mediocre-as-hell bands like the Moondoggies, the Heavy Pets, the Sheepdogs, Keller Williams, etc.? It's like a terrible mashup of lower-tier jambands and overplayed EDM.
Keller deserves two sets at a jam fest, his shows are always fun as hell. I mean nobody is going to start throwing grammy nods at him for innovative songwriting but I always have a good time seeing him live.

Blah blah blah - that's what I read above
I am happy happy happy. First - I didn't think I would get to go to a festy this year and now I'm excited because I get to see Chris Robinson, Keller, Pretty Lights and MiMoSA again
If you consider that there aren't any headliners listed yet then the lineup is pretty good so far. I'm giving waka the benefit of the doubt here as no one listed yet is headiner material. Looking for sci, black crowes, and tribe to be added. Got tix already and looking forward to more drops.
I really like this first round of artists! Maybe it's just me, but I realize that I can't see every single set and I don't have to love every single band on a lineup. Never having been to Waka, I think this looks like a perfect start to a smaller fest! Can't wait to see the rest! I'm starting to get pumped up about my summer
Certainly not a favorite but it's just nice to see them sticking to their roots. It's nice in that regard alone, to me; I have never seen Keller live nor do I have any desire too. Just one less act to bring in hoards of bros.

aren't most keller fans bros? just a different type of bros.
At first I was disappointed with the initial announcement, but after letting it digest a bit I see a lot of potential. With Bobby Weir and Chris Robinson both being there we have a lot of possibilities of other great acts they are involved with. The first third has electronic music, jam, bluegrass, americana, Reggae....such an eclectic lineup makes for a great crowd. I'm waiting for the rest of the lineup before I make my decision one way or the other.......give me some Cheese....possibly some Further (Bobby's there).....and I'm in.

If I didn't have to be selective this year I would be back in a heart beat, easily one of the best times I've ever had at a fest. I'm really excited for anyone who can attend. Best advice- hit up the small stages as much as possible... Ahh, good times.
I have to defend Keller. I've seen him live once and it was a really, really fun show. I would totally see him again if given the chance. Also I saw him with The Rhythm Devils and he really drove the show. I understand what people have against him but every once in a while it is nice to go to a show just to have some fun.

No, Pretty Lights is the number one headliner. Yeah, I know, what the hell.
This lineup is a fucking joke, and what is with this 1/3 per week bullshit? If they know the artists already just drop the lineup, no one is gonna buy tickets (which just went up in price) right now if the biggest name is Pretty Lights. That's just embarrassing after last years lineup.
Weir, Robinson, and Green Acoustic set? Yippee, so is it gonna be like an acoustic Ratdog show or an acoustic Black Crowes show? Main stage material right there! If I need a nap
Just saw that today. Def a bummer that pretty lights is a headliner. Kind of expected though...seems like the electronic scene has infiltrated waka more and more the last couple years. Doubt I'll be going back this year but I'm def curious to see what else they have in store.

What up Scott, I'm probably gonna pass on Waka this year too but will be going to Roo. Haven't talked to Spence about it yet but I bet he's down.
I think it's just a fad. My prediction: soon all those kids will take so much um, youknowwhat, that it will take them a year or so to find any kind of happiness. By the time they get out of their funk, their music tastes will have changed, and will hopefully be more sophisticated after some good ol fashioned depression.
