Bob Weir and Bruce Hornsby ft.special guest Branford Marsalis
Shpongle presents the Masquerade
Trampled By Turtles
The Werks
The Lumineers
Looks like Bob Weir and Phil Lesh will be playing multiple nights, I wasn't aware of that. Also Shpongle late night on the first night? Kinda disappointed by that. I was hoping he'd play LN Friday or Saturday.
So I just got the email about the Thursday lineup. Every band listed as playing Thursday is in the "Bands that will follow" list.....I think it must've been an accident or something.
I hope there actually is two Phil & Bobby shows that would be epic......but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Well yeah I saw that they were listed for Thursday and "Bands that will follow" so I assumed that maybe they were playing multiple nights, but you're right it could have been a mistake. It seems like having their 2 Dead acts on opening night is a little weird. But hey whatever. My biggest problem was Sphongle Thursday night :\ Usually after traveling and setting up I'm dead tired by 10 pm thursday

^^ yea I'll be exhausted too!! Def ready to know who's playing Sunday. Would like to be able to bail Sunday morning and not miss work Monday considering I'm taking off more days for Lolla two weeks later.
I like the Thursday acts - but I'm also kind of lucky because I live like 45 minutes away, and I have Thursday off too boot. There's a lot to like there. My sleeper act is The Lumineers. I'm really digging them - and their single was the No. 1 most requested song on CD 102.5 today in Columbus.
Legend Valley (formerly buckeye lake music center) is less than 1/2 mile off of I70. Easy access, not the 2 lane trek that MM was.
The only concern would be Ohio state troopers, speed limits strictly enforced. Get into that "blue hair retiree" mindset, set the cruise control at the speed limit and don't be in a hurry.

That's good advice, cbrau. They will be on the lookout around there for "hippies" heading to the fest. It's BS profiling, but follow all applicable laws, particularly when getting off I-70, and you should be fine.
And the Saturday lineup is: Allman Brothers Band Lotus Dark Star Orchestra Big Gigantic Railroad Earth Tea Leaf Green Conspirator (Official) Lettuce The Bridge Larry Keel Jerry Joseph & The Jackmormons Passafire Red Wanting Blue Yellow Dubmarine Rumpke Mountain Boys The Rex Jam!! So we'll have Michael Franti to close it out on Sunday!!
wish i would've got to attend the last year of AG on the mountain, but i did get to spend one of the best weekends of my life to date on the mountain in '10 not to mention it was my birthday weekend so it was a little more special. and i also had the great joy to meet some of the greatest people one could ever hope to meet like cliff (wellbalancedmusic) and his son, the wolfman himself, sarah, Dale, and a bunch more. even though AG is only an hour drive for me this year the land is flat and there's not a mountain in sight. regardless im lookin forward to expanding my extended family a bit farther this festie year. cant wait to rage it with all of you!!!

looks like they clarififed the camping situation... we will be camping by our cars! Good deal, easier to make shade cuz I have a feeling its going to be hot, maybe hotter than summercamp and it was brutal there (except at night of course)

I'm gonna be posted up in VIP under my canopy......no worries here!! I'm so stoked about this fest.....Some ABB and some Dead!! It'll be like Wanee all over again! Anyone have a clue who is playing with Phil for this show? I'm really hoping it's Jimmy Herring and not Jackie Green.

Anyone ever volunteer at All Good or know anyone that has? Did they like it? hints/tips? I applied today and am hopping i'll get the job, I want to go to AG but can't afford it, so hopefully this is a good alternative.
My girlfriend and I did post show clean up last year with clean vibes. It was pretty cool. My supervisors were all super cool, as were all the groups I cleaned with. Plus camping in the mountains for 2 extra days was amazing. It was a great experience.
There is no way I'll be able to afford to buy a ticket this year, so I may look at volunteering again. Only if I can come up with gas+food+spending money though.

That was easy, they must really need help. The application said they'd get back to me within a week, I was hired in less than 24 hours! Hopefully i'll have time to see The Flaming Lips since that was one of the bands I told them I don't want to miss on the application.
