It's my second time at Roo, I went in 2012, and I'm bringing a few newbies with me this time.
I think this go around I'll avoid certain things shaped like a mushroom that make me want to cry in a corner while watching Radio Head..and just stick to the beer.

Is Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs good? I've been meaning to read it.
New to the Roo this year and taking my son who is 17. I'm on here looking for advice. I'm used to working night shift so I'm worried about the heat and noise. I've been looking at roof top tents and I can't see where they're even allowed. I'd also like to set up a seperate space for a portable shower and toilet. Trying to avoid lines as much as possible since my back usually hurts after standing in them too long. Thinking about getting a power inverter or generator for my Kia Sorento too.
Here's the advice I can give about the heat and noise. 1. Sleep on a cot for more airflow than an airbed or the ground will give. 2. Sleep under a canopy, not in a tent, use tarps as partial walls. For more airflow. 3. Sleep with a battery powered fan. Even more airflow. (see the theme? Hot, stagnant air will keep you awake once the sun comes up.) 4. Sleep with earplugs for the noise, the quietest hours are from about 4-9, from then on it's pretty consistently loud. 5. Drink lots of water, at least one for each non-water drink while you're awake.
For the lines, you can get a pretty good show for everything but the headliners without even waiting in line at all. And low lawn chairs are allowed in Centeroo.
