Mafia 44 (now in M45 signups)

Scrog, its more like - You are twisting things around. I get where you are coming from but you are off base. I realize that me trying to talk you out of voting for me is fairly futile. If you are Mafia, you are doing your job. I don't think you are at this point, but I am starting to be nudged in that direction.

I am doing this from memory - and really I am only skimming your "logic" because it is so thrown together and convoluted that any real sense is hard to make of it all, and its me who you are talking about. I can't imagine how confused you are making other people who don't want to go back and read all of the posts that I made that you didn't quote, or seem to just leave out (intentionally?).

My voting for EAP was based on his verbiage. I mentioned that well before you called me out, and I posted the exact quotes that I derived that from. Also, the fact that I at that point thought you were Mafia, combined with what Phi said about Mafia voting for each other gave me that thought.

I was wrong on both counts. So I made a mistake because of misinterpreting information.

I think I may be having an A-HA moment right now... Lets put this together:

You threw some chum in the water about NoAge being Mafia. I took the bait thinking that you were inspector. Then you voted EAP off knowing that that would make me an easy target down the road. I would be kind of an easy target because of the EAP thing. I mean, why would you hang on to that first round voting for so long and so tightly, and keep bringing it up? It was a round 1 mistake, based on hints that I thought were viable. They weren't.

I forget the rest of the stuff you brought up honestly, but Im over typing this post out. I am voting for Abra this round because I think she is Mafia. If you are Mafia too, it would make sense for you to try to get the attention off her and on to me because I post so much I am obviously a lightning rod. Plus I am inexperienced. That makes me a super easy target for Mafia which is why I have not been whacked yet.

If I survive this round, I am going to pick your posts apart Scrog and get to the bottom of what it is you are trying to do.

I have my hunch that you will not be whacked....Mafia never whack themselves, do they?

I was really sure about you, surf, and phi being mafia. The reason is because you three latched onto an idea and rolled it over the hill without even questioning if it was valid. The fact that others were willing to just go with whatever you did/said also looks strange. Over the last couple days I have revisited other games to see how players played their roles. I'm not convinced you aren't mafia but I'm much less likely to think so after reading your play style from previous games.

The same train of thought goes for Scrog. I was mafia last round with Scrog and Duddits and I'm pretty confident that Scrog's playing style is way different. If Scrog was mafia was with Surf (who I'm pretty sure on) I think he would be not only NOT voting for surf but also coaching him like he did me.

Duddits is being strangely quiet like he was last round, he's on my radar and I'm not positive which way to go on this point.

SFA to be honest is confusing the heck out of me. I've went back and read his previous games and he seems to play all willy nilly regardless of role.

Phi has only played as townie or inspector. Since he didn't come screaming that he's inspector in the first page I tend to think he's either townie or Mafia. I don't have a whole lot to go on but my gut is telling me he isn't mafia.

I was pretty sure you were in with the mafia bunch but I'm not quite positive after rereading. You are playing like a townie even though your post count is high you don't say a whole lot. This could be suspicious later.

I'm pretty sure we have killed off one Mafia and it very well could have been Bonnie so that leaves 1 or 2 left. I would like to see two things, 2 people in the runoff that are likely mafia and I'd also like to survive this round to see who is whacked to either dissolve my ideas or solidify them. If I have the right mafia pegged I probably won't last the whack so I'm putting my thoughts out there now. I'm not mafia so putting myself in the runoff would be wasting a spot. I don't get why anyone would volunteer to be in a runoff. If mafia really gets an idea rolling they can influence votes so easily and off goes another townsperson.

Just because I'm quiet this game DOES NOT mean I'm Mafia. The very first game I played I was Mafia, and I was quiet because I had never played before and didn't wanna mess anything up. The other game I was Mafia was this past game, and the moment I started to point a suspicious finger and quote other players I was on the radar the entire rest of the game and had to lie my ass off.

This game and every other game I've played I've been a Townie. A few games I was whacked in Nights 1 and 2 because I started to bark up the Mafia tree or was an apparent threat to the Mafia.

This game especially, my strategy has been to lay low and try to get a read or feel on how other players are playing. I've been trying to tie players together on who could be possible Mafia. SFA hit on this and so have I, but each Day and respective runoff has been a voting nightmare. Its hard to pin anybody when each player seems to have changed votes multiple times. I run into a situation where I'm looking to see who each player started to vote for and then who they ultimately ended up voting for. If its a Townie making multiple changes in their vote it seems to me they are simply casting votes without making sure they are 100% confident that this is the player they want to vote for.

Mafia can easily take advantage of this as well and jump right in making multiple vote changes each Day and runoff. Without an Inspector, Mafia can do this all day and muddy up any chance of a win for the Townies by hiding their tracks in all of the vote changing.

Even at this point I can't sit here and make a valid argument for any one player being Mafia over another. Its not like I'm simply ignoring the game. I've read and re-read the thread, but I'm not gonna all of a sudden become vocal if I don't really have much to be vocal about.

My hunches about possible Mafia: Phi, Scrog, SFA - and even then I could be dead wrong.

Well, only her and Bonnie are the dead ladies - I can't imagine there being much of a line.

Bonnie went south. Who cares what her role was, she's still an evil one. Don't let the attractiveness fool you.

I spoke about him earlier and everyone just brushed over what I said. I still don't have that strong of a feeling about him, like I said before. I can't really link him with 1 or 2 other people as far as his votes or protecting anyone. Thoughts?

I agree and want to see Duddits and Abra in the runoff.

I started to post in good humor that Quacker must have been mafia because he's lying about where he claimed to meet EAP but was afraid of folks taking it seriously. EAP in heaven is believable. Glad to see others had the same fun thoughts.

If y'all want me in a runoff that's fine by me. I can tell you I'm a Townie this game until I'm blue in the face. Most of you seem to believe me. At the end of the game when LD lists the Inspector and the 3 Mafia, I can then honestly say to all of the doubters "I told you I was telling the truth when I said I was a Townie this game."

Surf, Phi, and Abra are the only three barking up my tree right now. And its funny because if any of those above three are Mafia they KNOW I'm a Townie and are simply trying to use my silence as fuel for their Mafia lies!!! Lies I tell you!!!

I'm not really barking up your tree. Like I said I thought it was curious you were so quiet but my gut is telling me you aren't mafia. I don't know about you at this point. Your post out is incredibly low and you aren't really telling your thoughts about the game.

So i dunno what songs are being played tonight but this sounds awesome. i like a perfect circle and heard great things on tool so here i am.

Abra my God honest thoughts on this game is that as a Townie it is literally a crap shoot at this point. To date, we have not heard from any player claiming they are the Inspector. If the Inspector is dead, the Mafia have a good chance of winning this game based soley on the fact that it is now Day 3, almost Night 3, and there are no solid leads on who was/is Mafia. We may have killed 1, 2, or no Mafia to date.

This game doesn't usually work the way it did at the end of the second round. Like, not at all. So forgive me for being all "get off my lawn." Even if Bonnie was guilty, based on the mafia whacks and her playing style, I think she 75% was. It was quacking stupid to vote stack on her and not force a second runoff. That's not necessarily anyone's fault because the round was closed in a failed way.

That's two rounds with 3 person runoffs. No forced votes. No explanations from the people that would have to change there votes in a third runoff. You force that 3rd runoff to make people talk!!! The fact that it wasn't done for two rounds makes me very suspicious. It makes me feel like the mafia haven't got anything to lose. I doubt they do with with all the equally quacking stupid vote switches in the first two rounds.

If we don't have any mafia killed, we will lose at the end of this round. If Jhamm was mafia then who was with him? If Bonnie was mafia then who was with her? Has anyone tried to put this together or are we fixated on a runoff with people we have a gut feeling about? I can tell you from experience. Holding on to gut feelings in this game won't get you very far as a townie.

I'm trying to decide who to vote for and I really don't know. Scrog has been after me the whole game and I've spent all my time responding to his off the wall stuff. It actually makes me sorta think he isn't mafia. Just digging way to deep.
