This is the exact reason the mafia keep winning by keeping their mouths shut. If you say anything, people suggest that you get voted off, but if you just coast under the radar, no one notices you.
Noage, I ask you to look at last game, besides the vocal abnormality called Phi(had over 60 post), I was as vocal as any of the next top three. I am not suggesting you get voted off, I only suggested if one of the pairs of voters are suspicious to Phi and you are in one of those 'pairs' that he vote for you, put you in a run-off. I think that is fair. same as someone wanting to put me in a run off because "I could be seen as controlling the game". I am only making suggestions, but I could see someone wanting me in the run-off because of that.
Scrog, you are a good player and a hard one to read. The asshole in me wants to just vote for you and put you into the runoff for suggesting me, but I really doubt you are mafia this time. While you were vocal in the last game, you were also reserved on casting judgement until it was beneficial. I doubt that if you were mafia you would be so bold as to suggest me so early on. Therefore, I am not going reciprocate a vote for you.
Phi, I am a townie. I would ask you not to vote for me so early on. Please consider changing your vote.

You insinuating that I am Mafia because of collaboration with Phi, makes me happy to see you in the runoff. and the way Phi stirs the pot and vote changes, it is good he is in the runoff as well. As for a third person to be in the runoff, I would like to hear from the quiet players.
is Noage in one of those "pairs"? He is the one who counters your idea, I would suggest him.
I am weary of any of your suggestions now. It was your suggestion last game that put me in the runoff (to eventually be killed off) to protect your fellow mafia member, Duddits. Just sayin'.
As far as the two already listed to be in a runoff: Phi's vote changing does seem to be his MO, so that doesn't seem very suspicious to me anymore. However, that post of the page from "A. Townie" is odd and I am not sure why two mafia would be VPs. I do agree with NoAge that mafia tend to keep their distance.
I can't yet decide if NoAge's post about ignoring the jerkstore is a well-thought out mafia defense or a truthful statement.

Nonsense, I have no affiliations in this game, but it is, in my opinion, strange that scrog suggests an idea and you jump right aboard. That's just a little too much trust, in my opinion.
As for voting for me, go ahead. I am no stranger to 1st round runoffs.
Also, townies, for a good runoff, we need atleast 3 players. It gives us a much more significant chance of having 1 or more mafia members in harms way, which is usually more telling as to who is protecting who.

Woah woah woah! Yes, I was mafia last round but not this one. Don't be throwing townies down the drain already. If you want a mafia in your 3 person runoff you are going to screw your chances by adding me in there. I'm totally calling you mafia, quacker, by trying to take a townie out.
Haha. Like I know you're Mafia? I'm fine with being thrown into the runoff. As a Townie all I can do is pick a name out of a hat. You were quiet. It became you. I got nothing to hide so I'm going to post and get people talking. It looks like my vote got you to speak up. That's a good thing.

Actually, I just got home from work and finally was able to pry the kids off the computer for more than 10 minutes. I've been thinking all day about getting on here and getting some reading/posting done. The reason I vote for you is because you know I'm a townie and you are trying to take me out and then whack someone else too making it likely for mafia win another one. At least that's how it seems to me. Plenty of people are being quiet are the others who haven't spoken up your mafia members?
^how can you he KNOW you are a townie? you are 100% sure he is mafia? at this point, most (sadly) townspeople are probably voting for a townsperson, so he could just be guessing.

I'm saying he knows that I'm a townie because he's mafia so he obviously knows who is mafia and who isn't. I'm not absolutely sure about this of course. I don't know why he picked me out of all the people who aren't talking yet unless the other quiet ppl are mafia and I'm the only townsperson. See where I'm going here? I also think it's odd we are expected to talk just to talk when there really isn't much to go on. I just don't see any huge signs pointing to who's mafia and who's not.

Interesting. Quacker, You know I'm not a "quite one." This is how i always play in the early part of the game. I rarely say anything until the 1st round runoff starts.
As to everything else, I don't think anyone has done much to be suspicious of yet.
Oops, Jham I thought you had 2 votes and was going to be in the runoff. You do make a good point. When I make a suggestion and someone jumps on it, yes I take note on that, as we all should.
Surf, this is your first game and there is nothing out there that screams,"I am Mafia", at least not to me. Would you like to expand on this?
As for abra, as Mafia she did not post much or express herself like she has this game. As Mafia I think she, like most do, did not speak much because she did not want to have a 'bone' fly out her mouth, now she is more vocal, granted that was in retaliation to Quacker giving her a 2nd vote, but to me her wording is different.(Phi you were on to me last game when talking about my word structure and 'well thought-out post').
The only people who are 100% sure of others is Mafia. We all should be 100% on 1 person not being mafia and that is ourselves and the Inspector is 100% on someone.
