I am not sure why anyone- townie or mafia- would want to be in a runoff. Accepting that you are in a runoff is one thing, but asking someone to put you in a runoff??
I'm saying that if anyone is going to change their vote I'm fine with it, not that I am encouraging anyone to change their vote. Upon re-reading, I can see the verbiage was not well thought out.

OK I am about to make a bold move here. I do not know if this has been done before or not and I do not really care. Hopefully this will prove to my townies that I am not mafia, and get 2 mafia in the runoff with me.
We need 3 in this runoff. Hopefully 2 mafia and myself. Once another vote is changed I will vote for either Quacker or NoAge. Hopefully I do not have a choice between the 2, because someone will have voted for the other. So here goes.

This would give one of the mafia the chance to change their vote without looking suspicious, but rather to just advance someone else into the runoff. Then you can change your vote back to quacker or myself and have a three person runoff.

Sure they would, every one who plays this game knows there is always a runoff, no one is never just voted off like that, unless the inspector tags them as Mafia. You little vote switch does nothing to prove you are not Mafia, like Noage said it actually does the opposite.

So explain to me why I would take such a chance then? If it makes me look like Mafia, why would I do it?
If you are correct in your thinking, and making this switch in my voting would make me look like mafia, there is NO WAY the other members of the mafia would let me do it.
And there is no way I would make a move like that without referring to my fellow mafia before I made the move, because I would have no idea if it is a horrible move or not.
Which is where I am. I have no clue if this is a good move or not - all I know is it got 2 people who I strongly suspect to be mafia in the runoff with me (for now). I am playing this game in the dark with no experinece. Making a move that probably has never been made before.

However, if you look through my posts, you can see my train of thought crystalizing as I typed. That can't really be faked I don't think. Unless someone is a total sociopath.

Actually I was wanting your input since you have played the game a lot. Not trying to make you look mafia, Phi still has my vote in that area.
