What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
When I think a cloth sack state of mind, I think of somebody living on the road and/or homeless. The trained part makes me think that they're an act that either doesn't tour often or used to not play live shows and now they do.
Trying to figure out something from delight--I thought the opposite of light is dark or black so maybe Blackstar? I know they have a new album coming out this year.

I'm wondering if this clue points to a band who has done an Apple commercial. Steve Jobs was a Buddhist, fitting in with the first part of the clue, and the Apple logo looks like the poisoned apple the Queen gave Snow White, which could be considered the Queen's delight, especially with the bite taken out.
Or it could all be pointing to Apple, which points to Apple records, which points to Sir Paul...
Saying Budai is a Buddhist symbol is like saying Santa Claus is a symbol of Christianity. I don't know Gary, but I've heard he's smart and I don't think he would make a clue about Budai that is really about Buddhism or someone who is a Buddhist.

The first section appears to me to point to dreaming, somewhat. "cloth sack state of mind" -- could reference a pillow case or a pillow, so to speak - the state of mind being sleep. (trained is still pretty loose -- but could simply refer back to dreaming as opposed to simple sleeping -- a skill of sleep, perhaps). Barring that it reads further than dreams, dream theater seems applicable to this. Where would one's purpose be to "savor the queen's delight" (as it reads like a command)? An actor would, in a theater -- that may even be the point of a production, in some cases - for the queen's delight. However, this is pretty subjective. I'm taking a lot of liberty.
Of course, I've also had entirely too little sleep this week. Haha

Dream Theater would be teh bewbz at Roo. I can imagine This Tent being pretty, pretty, prettaaaay good.

Actual when you look up sack cloth,it was a garment made out of such material that was used to indicate mourning or deep remorse. www.thefreedictionary.com/sackcloth
Couldn't the state of mind be a remorsful or sorrowful state of mind. Maybe they were even Trained to have such a state of mind. Still doing some digging on Queen's Delight that has me stumped.
Like astralpitch said, tea could be the queen's delight because we all know how those limey bastards enjoy tea. But maybe a British queen is too obvious?
