People formed a huge line on Friday last year for no reason. If you see a single file line that wraps around the block, don't get in it. Those people are morons. It's just like any other festival entrance, with a bunch of stalls that move people through quickly. Go to the front and pick the shortest line, you'll get inside within 5-10 minutes.

Has anyone ever tried to park around Union Park? I saw some people on the Lolla board say you can usually find some free spots pretty close but I'd feel pretty dumb if I drove all the way down only to find out there's really nothing and then I have to pay to park anyway.
Any spots to avoid? I know if you go a little West of the park things get a little sketchy...
I can't wait to watch the Vampire Weekend set on Sunday night. Those guys have been away for a fairly long time all thing considered, and I'm hoping they debut some new songs so we can see what direction they're moving in.
