So excited for Sunn O))), the only time I've seen them was on the Grimmrobe 10th Anniversary tour. They stripped down to just the core duo of Anderson and O'Malley on that tour since all the material they played was from the earliest days of the band. I'm looking forward to seeing them with Attilla.

I don't think capacity will be an issue. I'm seeing capacity at Memorial as somewhere between 2,770 and 3,800. Swans didn't fill up the 600 capacity Fletcher last year, and while Sunn O))) is bigger, I don't think they're 5x bigger.
This clears up several conflicts for me. The show at Kings on Friday is quacking killer: Bishop/Orcutt/Corsano trio, Hiss Golden Messenger, Oren Ambarchi/David Daniell Duo, William Tyler, and Wooden Wand, plus incidental music from a couple Black Twig Pickers.
Looks like the Wooden Wand show is solo/duo, which I figured it would be.
From fb a few moments ago: New WOODEN WAND tour dates just posted! A few duo sets (at least one each with the great Brad Davis and the great Tim Barnes!), mostly solo.
That's a big one for me, as well. I'm going with Dope Body. I figure they will make me move to see Zola, where as Pallbearer and Black Tusk would just make me wanna stay and see metal.
Both are kinda a sad loss, imo. I would have loved it to work out to have seen either one. I'm super excited over Trash Talk. One of the best shows I've seen this year. I'll gladly go again.
I guess they are announcing another artist in the next few days.
