Gonna try to go hard this year. Didn't make it to any after parties last year and was only able to make one day party show (Mount Eerie) because my dog jumped out the car on Saturday morning (she was severely injured, but all is good now).

Wanna know something effed up, PD. I'm skipping JaMC. Sacrilege, I know, but I need to see Corsano again.
I am also seeing them in DC that Sunday so it is a bit easier for me.
I might skip them, too, actually. I'm still toying with doing AV Fest + Sunday Riot Fest in September, which would scratch the JAMC itch. Corsano is incredible live.
Yeah, I want a list of all the inforoosters that are going. I'll obviously be going because I live here. garageland, problem dog...who else? Dave, you're not going are you?

No, I have neither the money nor the vacation days to make it happen.
This clears up several conflicts for me. The show at Kings on Friday is quacking killer: Bishop/Orcutt/Corsano trio, Hiss Golden Messenger, Oren Ambarchi/David Daniell Duo, William Tyler, and Wooden Wand, plus incidental music from a couple Black Twig Pickers.
The Love Language and Lonnie Walker at CAM on Friday would be nice, too.
Saturday's got day sets from Roomrunner, Spider Bags, Royal Bangs, and Woodsman.
Hometapes hasn't even announced their artists yet, and they were by far the best day show last year.
EDIT: Scratch that, I'm thinking of Digg Up Tapes. Although I do like Hometapes, too.
Thursday DiggUp Tapes day party/cultural series talk -> Phil Cook & His Feat -> Jon Mueller's Death Blues -> Charlie Parr -> first part of Matthew E. White -> Liars
Friday Three Lobed Records/WXDU day party and Thrill Jockey day party (these are in the same building, btw) -> Zammuto -> Built To Spill -> JAMC -> Black Tusk -> Zola Jesus -> Killer Mike
Saturday Bounce between Megafaun and Party Times day parties -> Shirlette & The Dynamite Brothers -> Escort (this will be the sleeper set of the fest) -> The Roots -> Young and In The Way -> Danny Brown or Laurel Halo -> Sunn O))) (but if that gets boring, Flosstradamus)
Hoping someone throws together some after parties (this is why I desperately want to rent a house with a decent-sized basement)

Thanks for the heads up on the Thrill Jockey party, I had no idea that place was in the same building. That's convenient.
Thursday Chris Fosyth & Koen Holtkamp > Deerhoof > Liars > hopefully G-Side or Thee Oh Sees start late
Friday day show at Kings, then some Thrill Jockey, maybe Love Language > Zammuto > Built to Spill > Jesus and Mary Chain > Pallbearer > The Atlas Moth > Killer Mike
Saturday day shows: Roomrunner, Woodsman, Royal Bangs, probably a lot of wandering > Shirlette and the Dynamite Brothers > Escort > The Roots > Kevin Drumm > The Spits or Carlos Giffoni > Sunn O)))

FYI, if you're a Liars fan, Liars will most likely be doing a record signing/meet-and-greet at Schoolkids Records' booth in the Sheraton on Friday afternoon. Not completely finalized yet, but should be finalized and announced in the next week assuming there are no last-minute snags. Just wanted to give a heads up.

I heard that the most hipstery hipsters work at Schoolkids Records.
