I haven't received the email or the order. But, they pushed the deadline to pick up an order til Today at 12EST. So, i'm not expecting the order til later and the email probably won't come til right before BLAM starts, right?
Yeah, I'm thinking the emails will be sent out at 5:59 or something like that.
They can't have any of the lineup leaking early, you know.

I was in the office today picking up posters. Before you ask, I wasn't offered any names nor did I ask. They asked specifically that street team people please remember to put the #bonnaroo on whatever social media thing they choose to send out tonight. Also, they reminded me that you're not necessarily going to get a band that you know, but please do the best you can and send the stuff out anyway.

What'd you get posters for?
There are weekly poster routes in Knoxville where you just put up posters in your part of town for whatever upcoming shows AC has.
It's way less points than the poster runs, but they're steady.
Hmpf. Must be nice.
The time stamp for the orders tonight doesn't have to be the date and time right? Just time time? Like if I screenshot my phone the time in the top status bar will be sufficient, right? I just got an email about tonight's ordeal and it confused me a little. (It was a just directional email, I think the one that Dave originally posted actually. Not the artist name one. That one is coming at 6.)
The timestamp seems redundant seeing as the entire order must be completed by 9 PM anyways. I intend to just screenshot my phone because it has the time at the top.

The email I got from AC this afternoon says to submit proofs by Thurs at 6pm if that helps!

Well, someone screwed up. The email said to announce the band exactly as shown in the email, so I announced "Jon Cleary & the Monster Gentlemen". Thing is, the name of the band is "Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen "
Just send a note to the community managers (Cory and Evvan) and you should be fine. If it was a long title and a minor goof I'm sure you'll be fine.

hm. So assuming tickets are 16000 points (I think?) and assuming I would end up paying $350 for a ticket otherwise... 16000 = $350 1600 = 35 320 = 7 ~46 = $1
46*17=782 so it would have to be at least 782 points to cancel out the $17 gas.
Just be waiting at noon EST when they drop, I'm usually sitting there refreshing @ about 11:50 and hoping to score one in my region - Blacksburg/Asheville/Charlotte/Charleston

is it going to be impossibly difficult to nab one?
Depends where you live, really. I'm close enough to two other markets (2 hours) that I can grab one of those if i have to. The 8k points is worth a 2 hour drive and a couple hours postering, a chance to check out a different city for a few hours and have a good time. I have gotten one for my city these past 3 years and the past 2 years grabbed one from another city as well. I'm sure some markets are a bit more competitive than others though, so be quick. I just set calendar notifications in my phone

You know guys, if you are hurting for points come up with a good idea to promote Bonnaroo or a show/venue/route that they would be interested in having their promo items posted, and send a mail to your community manager. You never know till you ask.
